The jeff vandermeer event was alright but not worth the money imo. Jess looked disheveled and seemed nervous. I think she should get a real job so she can gain confidence and real skills because she is never going to grow doing what she currently does.

Wow that is wild to me, why would she hide her most popular videos??
 
When she stopped uploading on her second channel, I distinctly remember her saying something like I'll keep the videos up for you guys cause I know you like rewatching them. I knew she doesn't give a shit about her followers, but I always hoped she'd keep them up for ad revenue. Get out of here with your fake "hi my loves", she should be thankful her followers gave her the illusion of being financially independent from her mom.

I doubt she'll even address this, just like she didn't address what happened to their family cat.

I hope Indie creates a YouTube channel and surpasses her in subscribers.
 
I also thought I remembered us previously talking about her removing/privating all her old videos but maybe it was just some of them. I think that income is going to be a lot smaller for her than some influencers. There's a small group of us who liked her old vlogs for holiday coziness, but her audience was never that big (relative to influencers who make thousands of dollars a month or something on residual views).

that was on her main channel but her vlogs were still up on the extra channel until now
 
I understand if someone doesn’t like the content they’re making anymore and switching it up, but surely there has to be a balance with what viewers want?

She pretty much just makes one video a month at this point of what she’s read, but how many people really want to watch that vs her vlogs. Tbf to her she’s quite a natural & comfortable person on camera, so I don’t think people even want wild vlogs of her doing stuff, in the least offensive way, she’s just someone easy to have on in the background
 
I have been watching Jess for years and have slowly been getting more and more disengaged sadly. Her deleting the old vlogs feels like the final thing that will just cut me off from her content. I used to go back and watch the old vlogmas's and really enjoy them, now all that's left is the new drab content. Goodbye to Jess from me I guess!

also I just watch a house update video from 11 months ago and I am baffled, HOW are they not moved in yet?!!!

She did get some criticism for those India vlogs b/c she was being chauffeur driven in a luxury car while filming the poverty she was being driven through. I wonder if that's partly why she's deleted the vlogs- they reveal how much privilege she has (e.g. footage of all her very expensive holidays, business class flights, stays at the farm etc). Without the vlogs as evidence of her wealth she probably thinks she can shamelessly ask her followers to "buy her a coffee" without getting called out for it.
 
The most authentic and interesting part of her YouTube presence is gone. Even for someone as privileged as her, this can't be a wise move business-wise. All we're left with cringey slo-mo shots from Zak and ASMR blurb reads. I've been putting her videos in the background for the past few years but I think I'll stop engaging altogether after this. She'll be left with those crazy Patreon sycophants who send the rich trust fund baby books in the mail.

She still has Vlogmas and Vlogtober content on her main channel. I honestly think she just gets notions about ‘fresh starts’ and rebranding and new chapters… it was actually the exact same when she was starting the extra vlog channel, she was so sure it was a new chapter in her vlogging and made so much sense for her channel to separate vlog content from fashion content. She just likes starting ‘new’ fresh things and ‘planning’ for changes, but doesn’t have the follow through to implement it. Same with the house, she very clearly left it to someone else who felt no time pressure all these years.
