Sorry if it has already been mentioned. She really got my hackles up when she was talking about the Poppy stall.. She said Poppies were recognised as a symbol of rememberance for all of the fallen in WW!... I thought this was so disrespectful as Poppies symbolise the rememberance of all of the fallen from WW! to present day.. sometimes I wish she would just keep her mouth shut, it doesn't engage with her brain.

In France I believe it is a cornflower that is worn in lapel holes for war rememberence.

Andouille was one of the most disgusting things I‘ve ever tasted - it was served on a crêpe in the Bretagne. Just the smallest nibble of it caused a taste so horrible and outstanding for half an hour! I‘ll never forget

The bar is so low on what you can praise loser Philip for, that it is getting pretty ridiculous, e.g., he was praised as being a hero for waiting in line for an amusement ride, he gets praised for putting plates on a table (didn’t we all outgrow that by like five years of age?), he gets praised for driving a car, raise for picking out something to eat at a restaurant, raise for eating milk based products, etc.

Yes. Amaury and Natti married after a year's engagement. Philip proposed in the chapel, so after the Grand Salon is fixed up, Stephanie and Philip plan to marry, Stephanie said.

Interesting also that Herbert never seems to see his brother at all. I don't think the brother has ever been to LL and PJ never, ever, mentions him; you would think he was an only child who spent most of his time with his grandparents. Perhaps there is jealousy as the brother seems to have completed his education and actually works for a living. I suspect Herbert is a complete embarrassment to the whole family. Even if they think he's been fortunate to find someone who will finance their son, they must be really embarrassed by the cracked blow-up doll, the ageing, circus ring-mistress that he is living off. Doubt if they'd want their neighbours and colleagues to get a glimpse of that monstrosity. Has she any idea at all of what she looks like in the awful red cape and the reindeer ears? For someone who is obsessed with her appearance, it's a strange choice, but then, again, she wants to look abstemious and appeal to the grannies who think she's sweet. Stephanie Jarvis could not be sweet if she tried even harder. She really goes look like a granny and it's not just the dreadful garb, it's the body language, facial expressions and that supercilious, patronising manner that make her look like an old woman. The way she spouts and moves her head up and down is like a granny from decades ago telling the children what to do. Again, she's reading from a tourist guide about the town. She is nothing if not predictable.

The videos lately have been mainly of your travels and looking in different shops, and very little of the Chateau Laland home life. I will admit it is nice to see other places and the shops, and the wonderful items they have for sale. but I really miss the time spent at the Chateau Laland with friends and family

Did you watch all the episodes? We have seen a lot Lalande, the family, the kitchen, the dining room and the gardens. As the chateau is not heated, I understand that some rooms are closed during winter.

Not keen on the gilding of the wood. Not keen on the bird plates and the tables are over the top for really eating on. The biggest faux pas is that you are not able to see the person across the table. Would have bought that black bedroom set. It would be amazing in the chateau!

Stephanie and Philip now sell porcelain online. If that goes Ok, maybe they will branch out. Philip attends auctions online now to upgrade the furniture at Lalande. Stephanie has a travel show with a friend, but they are waiting until summer to go traveling again.
