The Chateau Diaries #340 2 cleaners, 5 gardeners and 1 chef, again, why does she need people to finance her reno?

Watching the Ladies of the Chateau. My heart goes out to them for how screwed they are thanks to Fanny and her idiotic son. Their in depth explanation of French accounting was eye opening. No way that is done even on a small scale at LieLande or they would never shut up about doing actual work.

Yup and the fact that the renovation is pushed back until god knows when... Maybe they notice that herding menopausal women painting, stretching or playing dressup is not really a sustainable business to feed an extended family and pay for the chateau. And how it was told like a hero story how they sat for two weeks in pain doing it.... Well if you research, ask for advise and do it right all along u dont have to sit for two weeks.

Mama seems over it the whole video. Another freezing winter in a drafty chateau.

I think they really over extended themselves in getting this huge place that does not work for their vision and is expensive to maintain. That os what u get when u send 4F4 to look at the chateau.

If I had never been to Paris ..... I would have been in the line with Fanny to see Notre Dame. Tells me a lot about FRK.
There are plenty of Christmas Markets in France!
As for the tour of E Dihillerin ..... everything bought there will belong to Fanny.
They are expensive , all I could afford when I was there was a whisk , a wooden spoon and olive tree salad servers..... all I still use today.
If FRK did a proper cooking school she would have seen those huge stock pots etc.
Why was Snorts there. :devilish:

Does anybody think first time she did the Notre Dame tour, she shrilled like a banshee and was asked to shut up, hence the voice over. :ROFLMAO:

I found it so insencere of her lighting a candle for the restorers of her little chapel and Notre Dame, but no candles for these people: Ian the plasterer, Christophe Faye, Mmakhotso Moloi.

I understood that they saw Notre Dame together but instead of both standing in line, Stephanie was in line and Marie meanwhile visited the Christmas market. But maybe I'm thinking too logically.

I did not think so Lady P ........ Fanny came out of Notre Dame and said she is off to find FRK at the Christmas Market.
So I got that feeling she did not go with her ..... I don't think Snorts came with her either or we would have seen them.
All bloody strange. :cautious:

Yet another brolly, no Trixie can't get the system wet or is it a bad creme brulee bum day :poop: 🤢?

Don't blame Marie for going elsewhere she's already tit out on a decent view for the meal and no ballet.

FF through Notre Dame Section as she gets on my tits!

Sadly seems he was better by the evening, pity.

Marie should have been given free reign in that shop to buy what she wanted/needed, they could have got it delivered. Never stops those two if they want something. Utterly selfish.

Then off to eat overpriced madeleines

Bet they forgot to get their caviar spoons;

A Christmas card for Trixie

11:57 You speak about people working together for good rather than evil, yet you are the same person who replied to my comment about the genocide in Gaza how you only want to tell pretty stories. The hypocrisy is astounding. This is why the revolution happened, and this is why CEO'S are getting shot. You are out of touch with the real world

QUITE the compliment, that the restorers said, that the quality of decorations in your little, private chapel was better, than any, they had restored in Notre Dame! And, I as I've said, many times before, I hope you will consider, taking on an editor soon

The knowledge and artistry of every bit of Notre Dame had been gathered and studied before the fire. They had even laser mapped the cathedral the year before. After the fire, experts even studied each burned joint of the roof to restore it. It is fantastic, as in the chapel at Lalande

I’m going to be “Contrary Mary” about FRK forgoing looking at the newly-restored Norte Dame in favour of mooching around a Christmas market, despite the renaissance of ND being such an extraordinary feat. There is nothing worse than forcefeeding someone with something in which they’ve absolutely no interest. Marie has never shown the slightest enthusiasm for what I guess one would call culture - history, architecture, etc. in my view, much more enjoyable for her to make the most of soaking up her Paris treat, doing her own thing and appreciating that. A view that probably makes me sound a Philistine but I’m just being a realist!

But where was the prancing twerp, the crumbling heap’s in-house expert on everything?

It was as predictable as night follows day that SJ would litter her commentary with references to the chapel - her chapel - at Lalande.

Just watched the Puy Lentiles

They've truly been stitched up like a kipper.

Listening to advice from two people who know absolutely duck all about maintaining a huge property, as the said two people have never had to be responsible for themselves and their spending their entire lives.

They met up wit Sarah and Steve recently at a Christmas Market and looked totally hacked off (especially Carolina).

I do hope they've got themselves a very good financial advisor and accountant as they must be hemorrhaging money. I don't think they're hard up but the outgoings must be eyewatering. Wonder what their cotisations are.

I wonder how keen they'll be now to run off to Lala to spend time with Julia's idol.

A very defeated atmosphere throughout I felt, or is it just the way they speak.

I thought so too ComtesseRose......... a woman who is "Religious" when she feels like it and blabbing on about her restorer of her Chapel for the $$$ !
"See- I spent your money well Patreons" and , of course , she is warming up for the next Begging Bowl Act !!!
I was hoping a bolt of lighting would have gotten her right in the botoxed face!

And all that preparation to record the information a year before. Amazing! It's almost as if they knew something would happen to ND...
