It's like the women's semi yesterday. Boring first set and looked like the one dominating had it in the bag.

Sadly he's really good at tie breaks 😬
 
What a shame, if daniil had of got the second set I think he'd of won. Novak probably has enough left in the tank to power through the last one. But I hope to be wrong.
 
I was trying my best to watch but I fell asleep for most of that mammoth second set. When I woke up they were just finishing the tie break and I turned it off in a huff after Novax took it. Sorry everyone clearly I need to work on my manifestation. 🤣🤣
 
Ah well at least it's not the calendar slam. I don't think he's going to get that or the golden slam next year.

I see he's the only one in the top 10 that's missing Beijing. He's had a quiet year but still near his limits.
 
To think that we still have years with Novak 🙄 Carlos still lacks experience in some situations and is clearly still developing some skills, and the rest of the field at whist miles behind these two. I need guys like Sinner, Rune and Ruud to catch up.
 
The banned substance was found in 51 blood samples so that would be a lot of false positives and there are further questions over her bio passport which gets monitored long term. She's toast.
 
A handful of supposedly reputable people and her coach are saying the outcome and 4 years is wrong. I'm not sure what to believe



I know they're all on a complicated cocktail of supplements, but really doesn't seem as simple as they got contaminated.

‘False positive’ was rubbish terminology on my part - what I should have said was I wasn’t sure how feasible it was that a legal nutritional supplement could be contaminated with such a high concentration of a banned substance that it flags up to such an apparently huge extent.
