Not to turn the tenor of the conversation but will this mean they will be hiring a new male pro or bringing back an ex male pro?

Gross misconduct suggests something more than just being rude or forceful. That would usually be a warning. It must be something quite extreme that could affect contestants safety/and or physical or mental health, or sexually inappropriate. Either one major event, or a pattern of behaviour.

as said above, she got injured mid-show. like other posters have said, i wonder if, on reviewing the training footage, they’ve identified some kind of safety issue (or that he inadvertently caused her harm) relating to it.

Inappropriate physical and verbal behaviour certainly could be of a sexual nature and gross misconduct if it was considered harassment or an abuse of power and witnessed by others being done at work. Zara could have been caught up in the strictly bubble at the time and only now realise it was inappropriate once others complained.

Either this, or just the same reason so many women don't speak up or just pretend like everything is ok - because they're scared of what might happen - just look at what happened to Amanda when she quit and then made an official complaint

I Know it seems weird that Zara and Graziano still seem really close considering the allegations, but thinking about it, it's not that unusual in these circumstances.

Honestly, I don't think any of this would be coming out if it wasn't for Amanda. Things like this have probably been going on for years but I don't think they thought they would ever have someone like Amanda who just won't stand for it. Now they have to look at other things as well.

I’ve made no secret of the fact I was #TeamAmanda right from when she was announced, but I do think she’s shown incredible strength in being the first person to stand up and say ‘no, not acceptable’ given that the show is clearly very questionable in terms of how people are treated.

I know a few past contestants have hinted that they found it an unpleasant experience, but no one put their head above the parapet quite so emphatically before her. And the threats and abuse she and her family have received are utterly despicable.

This feels like the tip of the iceberg 🫤

this 👏🏻👏🏻

that’s also not even mentioning (i know lots of posters here have brought it up) how many competing athletes have suffered big, sometimes career changing, injuries.

I very much doubt they had an affair - that's just an easy way for the public to blame the woman, as usual.

Him mentioning his "training regime" could've been anything from their training hours being too long, no breaks, being verbally abusive, physically pushing her around - who knows? All of these pros have grown up so disciplined and probably in very unhealthy training environments from a very young age, I imagine it's just what they're used to, but that doesn't make it ok.

This is a light entertainment show and if this has been happening for years, the BBC should've nipped it in the bud a long time ago.

It has been said numerous times on here that sometimes it has gone too far in what is expected from the pro/celeb which must lead the pro pushing the celeb too far. For instance that lift is Ellie’s showdance shouldn’t have been allowed. The whole production of strictly does need to be looked at, they need to get the balance right.

Not excusing Gio or Graz behaviour.

This is really shocking when I first saw the headline I assumed the used the wrong photo, getting him mixed up with Gio.

I can't remember the exact details but wasn't there a small kerfuffle on sm one night because Zara had done a video and people felt uncomfortable by either the content or what she said implying Graz was being unkind. Quite quickly it was turned around to them just messing around online.
Does anyone else remember this?
