exactly. she’s a non-dancer non-performer who would have no clue what the “normal” line would be in that scenario (same as most of us i think!) - and that’s combined with them obviously getting along well outside the training environment. i can’t imagine how she’s feeling now.
 
Wasn't there talk at the time of how close he and zara seemed, with comments she was bound to cheat on Sam again with Graz

I just can’t see that he ever saw Zara as a serious contender to win and that line is being used to try and excuse dodgy behaviour.

Honestly, I don't think any of this would be coming out if it wasn't for Amanda. Things like this have probably been going on for years but I don't think they thought they would ever have someone like Amanda who just won't stand for it. Now they have to look at other things as well.

I will say that now this has come out about Graz I feel bad for Amanda. This situation seems to have been handled really quickly while hers is still dragging on. The longer it takes for hers to be sorted, the more abuse she's getting all because some think Gio is the second coming of Jesus.
 
It’s naive of me but I thought all training sessions were recorded from start to finish to get the best bits for ITT and the VTs etc. A bit like Big Brother?
Only now am I twigging that production staff probably pop in for an hour and record some run throughs and leave. I would have thought it would be the norm to have other people in the training room?

he doesn’t say that he saw her as a contender though - just that he himself wanted to win. it could equally read as his determination to win meant that he took said determination out on a partner who just wasn’t a very good dancer and so crossed the line in how he spoke to and acted towards her 🤷🏼‍♀️
 
I am shook by this! Zara was liking Grazs wife’s insta pics two days ago so surely it’s not come from her? Have producers maybe been reviewing all training footage following the Gio claims and seen something? Didn’t Zara get injured at some point? I wonder if they’ve deemed the move was too dangerous and shouldn’t have been done and therefore negligent?

i honestly thought that a crew was with them the entire time - though i don’t know how i thought that considering how late some of them train until. it’s wild that they don’t seem to review footage or anything for this kind of thing though.

Exactly! If they’ve reviewed footage and found it inappropriate, why wasn’t it deemed inappropriate at the time?! Obviously the Amanda effect, but still wild that so much has been allowed to happen :(

katya is still there, brendan continued for years after natasha, the prince of strictly (kevin clifton) and stacey were getting it on while she had a boyfriend, there’s rachel and pasha too (also crossing lines while she was married) - probably loads we don’t even know about. he’s not getting sacked for an affair.
 
Gross misconduct suggests something more than just being rude or forceful. That would usually be a warning. It must be something quite extreme that could affect contestants safety/and or physical or mental health, or sexually inappropriate. Either one major event, or a pattern of behaviour.
