FR stands for fanny ratWhy is Gio referred to FR here?
The other pros and celebs need to zip their defence of Graz now.
FR stands for fanny rat
he seemed to favour routines where his head at some point is between a woman's thighs .
Other pro's rushing to Graz defense in part because many others display traits,
how many times in VT or interviews have we heard 'No lunch, you're not allowed food untill you do the step correctly so you go again' or ' if I catch you trying to rest once more then we stay for 12 hours'
or 'stop complaining of pain, such a baby ok your in pain but get up come on' ...... It's a culture .
I completely agree using the word passionate to deflect from your crappy behaviour is just really offensive. And I hope more comes put about Gio's behaviour, I've always thought he was a head. The Times also has a story that has 'a source close to Graziano Di Prima' who said that the Italian dancer accepted that he may have crossed a line with his celebrity partner Zara McDermott.
'His “training methods might have been too passionate” the source said, adding: “But these are professionals who are driven to win. So training can be tough.”
Pretty much word for word what Gio said: 'I am passionate and competitive. No-one is more ambitious for my dance partners than me. I have always striven to help them be the very best dancers they can be. This has always come from a place of love and wanting to win - for me and my dance partners.'
I hate this 'passionate' bollocks - such a bleeping cliché.

People saying why did Zara continue to be friends with him and go to his show well maybe he apologized for whatever he alleged did and she accepted his apology.
See, I'm less sure on that. James is a love him or hate him type of guy. But, he speaks his mind and you know what you're getting. There's no hiding. A key thing here (and is often the case) is the abusers hide behind a carefully curated nice guy image. All the time.
James is a grumpy and arrogant man, and I'm sure he could be rude. But that's different to abuse. Same with Brendon.
Maybe stuff will come out about him, but I think it's the permanent nice guys you need to watch more.
Yeah there's been total silence from them all bar Katya's like. I'm sure they're all reviewing their training methods now. What I can't understand is if he was given a warning, even if things hadn't escalated then, why he didn't step back, or the show step in. This would have been while the Amanda/Gio stuff was flaring up too.Which pros have defended him? I read that Katya had liked Graz's post but haven't heard of any others.

I just don't think we can draw any conclusions about any of the pros now. Graz was the last person I'd expect this of (except maybe Johannes or Jowita).
It makes you think that behind the glitz of getting the biggest show in Saturday night entertainment onto our screens is going to be the messy reality .....Yes, and last year if I remember correctly, Shirley, in particular was approving of those who mentioned long hours, like Layton and Nikita for example. I think Nigel and Katya committed the terrible sin of mentioning that Nigel went home at reasonable hours. Not that they could get anything right as far as Shirley was concerned anyway.
But it all feeds into a particular narrative. The celebrities are not going to turn into professional dancers over the course of the programme. And as has been said here previously, just because you can dance, doesn't necessarily mean you can teach dancing. If you're getting to a point where you're having anger management issues, it's past time to get out.
Katya actually unliked the post on SundayYeah there's been total silence from them all bar Katya's like. I'm sure they're all reviewing their training methods now. Her like is still there? and Arduino has just liked it..Katya actually unliked the post on Sunday
Plus, they all come from different countries with different cultural norms. I can see the machismo culture of the Italian guys would be different from say Kai’s background, or Kevin’s or someone from East Europe. They all have dance in common but vastly different backgrounds. The BBC urgently needs to introduce an induction for its employee on this show. Their dance world is different to a world where people are used to professionalism, respect and codes of conduct. It makes you think that behind the glitz of getting the biggest show in Saturday night entertainment onto our screens is going to be the messy reality .....
A group of competetive, highly temperamental, strong willed, driven at all cost professional dancers who each come with their own egos and unchecked teaching methods many themselves taught as kids in strict Russian, Spanish, Italian etc dance schools by dance mistresses like Shirley Ballas who drive them hard and then they continue the cycle
I don't know but to me from snippets you see you could tell it's a ticking time bomb but the show must go on and all that so a blind eye gets turned .
The show is king so do whatever it takes kind of culture .
I agree that James is what you see is what you get - BUT I also think what you saw was abusive. Speaking to people the way he did and saying he doesn't care if they train till their feet bleed etc, you wouldn't class that as abusive?
So 2 removed from SCD, and 3 from DWTS in Ireland, and all hail from Italy....just saying.Plus, they all come from different countries with different cultural norms. As an aside, I have always found the way James talks about Ola very disrespectful. He was punching with her but seemed to like keeping her in her place.
