Yep internalised misogyny. It depresses me how people can't see it although I don't it's just restricted to older women and I don't think it's anything to do with being bitter about younger women being more attractive to men. If we frame everything around what men think of us, we are part of the problem. I say this as 51 year old.

Yeah, Gio is still officially innocent, despite Amanda's (and others') accusations. It may be that the show hasn't the evidence to get rid of him.
With Graz there was clearly evidence that was damning. Having said that, both the Mail and the Sun definitely lie/exaggerate. The Mail especially are framing this in a pro-Gio light. We'll see.
I'd imagine Katya and the other pros didn't witness any misbehaviour. He'd have been careful to keep it in private. They all seemed incredibly fond of him.

My view is the Gio allegations are more nebulous. There's the allegation about the toe stamping but even if there is footage of that, how do you determine whether it was a deliberate foot stamp rather than an accidental stood on your foot when dancing moment. I mean it might be clear cut, but it probably isn't.

plus Gio denies it all, so it has to be investigated, as is quite right.

Graz has accepted whatever the allegation was.

it manifests in so many ways and it’s genuinely depressing (ie how many people immediately went they’re having an AFFAIR she’s got previous when the wording of graziano’s post made it fairly clear what the issues were, as seems to be confirmed now). i feel for zara because, even though she’s the wronged party, you know she’s going to have some awful stuff said to and about her over the next few weeks (at least). i just hope she has a good support network around her.

Yes - let's insult women a bit more!!! As old woman I'm sick of this - she's old, bitter and not attractive to men anymore that's why she's so hard on me.

No love, I'm getting frustrated cos I've told you 20 times how to do that task but you're more interested in taking selfies. And this is just the same principle as ordering from ASOS so there's no reason you can't do it.

I literally worked with a lassie last year who left chucking all sorts of accusations around - she left in September - as of May, I was still finding stuff she'd done wrong. She'd only worked for us for 12 weeks and in that time she'd been off on 2 weeks holidays and 2 weeks sick!!!

But yes I'm old, bitter and not attractive to men. I've never been attractive to men so I don't see any difference now I'm old and bitter.

I'd also like to make this final point. As a younger, more attractive and less bitter woman, I was previously as a supervisor in my workplace. I had real difficulties with a male member of staff always undermining me, not listening to me, basically being rude. When I tried to resolve this, I was told the issue was I didn't like men!!! I moved onto to a different role but this guy has continued to wind people up. And I sit there and smile!!!

I wonder if following the Giovanni allegations, all training footage has been reviewed and the production team have flagged something of concern.
Zara has only just had the all-clear to return to normal gym training after fracturing her leg - does anyone know how that injury occurred?
Just wondering if it was a stress fracture, was she complaining of pain during training but Graz has pushed her through it or even worse was he the cause of the injury?

I would take a lot of what the papers say at the moment with a pinch of salt, they will be running Chinese whispers and just printing anything whilst there is nothing being said by the BBC, Graz or Zara.
It will all come out in the wash sooner rather than later though, in the meantime TPTB are going to have to pull some fairly spectacular stunts to stop this completely overshadowing the 20th anniversary.

I just hope that 'it'll all come out in the wash' doesn't end up translating to Graziano giving his version of events in a tell all book/magazine deal followed by Zara doing one of her BBC three specials in which she will allude to something off the back of this as so far literally all her negative life experiences have had to be monetised and publicly aired (much like her sister in law)

I suppose my point is I really hope no one profits or furthers their career from all this but I'm honestly it wouldn't surprise me .

Interestingly, on Juliet’s group (the spiritual home of the shameless male apologist, where every single bad thing that ever gets said about one of their darling pros is directly due to that evil witch Amanda, who is on a mission to single-handedly ruin the lives of every good man on the planet), there has been a sudden volte face, whereby she has declared that the hit/punched/spat allegations have been verified for her by a reliable source, and from here on the only comments allowed are those directly supporting Zara.

I wonder if Zara’s mum read some of the awful speculation in that group and waved a lawyer’s letter in Juliet’s general direction? 🤔

Yes I have woken up like that too. I don't particularly watch anything she's in but I feel so angry for her. She clearly didn't feel like she could make a complaint, which really saddens me and I'm glad someone stepped in and complained for her.

To be kicked and hit while just doing a bloody BBc dance show is horrific, but being spat at, that just disgusts me to my core. Graz could end up being arrested. I hope Zara is ok and getting all the love and support she needs.

but the press are going to be all over everything. If you come out of rehearsal 5ft away from your partner and not smiling, something has gone on. If you are not sat right next to them on the ITT sofa you have fallen out etc etc etc. Even more so than the usual stories in this vein.
 
Have the BBC made any comment since the spitting/kicking allegations?
I can only find one story on the BBC news website from 19 hours ago.

How did the story get released today, with the news full of Trump and the Euros. Who released it?

I recall the awful comment made after 9/11 -
Today is a good day to bury bad news....
 
I think the Gio accusations are much harder to prove in that I think they may be less physical and more emotional, the way he spoke to them, the long hours, the pushing to their limits etc. It’s much harder to prove and to decide whether there was genuine ill intent or not. With Graz it’s much more black and white.

the story was released well before trumps thing last night.

I cannot get over how people are saying 'oh we have to wait for the context' 'he might have done it in the vicinity of her, not actually at her'
Give your head a wobble, and think about why you're doing mental gymnastics for someone you don't know, who isn't denying the allegations, and has been sacked on the spot for gross misconduct.
I was not a Zara fan at all tbh, but it shows a lot of people have no clue about coercive control, how manipulative people can be, especially with someone who has been in abusive relationships before. Noone knew for years my ex was abusive, never physical, but very abusive emotionally, outside he was the life and soul of everything, everyone loved him, behind closed doors it was a different story. I was conditioned to believe this is what I deserved, bit by bit, until I was happy with any scrap of love. Add that into this being Zara's 'big break' and how much she loved strictly, of course she didn't want to rock the boat.

Ah so sorry to read this, and even more sad when I say your story is not that uncommon. I hope you’re far away from your ex now and are in a happier place.
 
I see the way people are talking about Zara and Amanda and I despair for women. No wonder reporting and prosecuting of sexual offences remains so low and so many people minimise domestic violence.

Amanda in particular has got so much tit, when there are multiple accusations against Giovanni, and the comments about his approach existed long before she was on the show.

I wonder if that now extends to Amanda also? I really hope she also gets justice now.

Though even the DM comments seem to have changed a bit- less of the ‘these women wouldn’t last a day in the SAS’ stuff that prevailed before

It's really not uncommon, it's so so sad and it's usually a scrote of a man too, and 90% noone on the outside notices, I was still a confident, successful person outside the front door.
A bit out of left field, Sam has ADHD right? it's joked us neurospicy people tend to attract other neuro spicy people, I wonder if Zara was assesed when he did his docu? I know there can be a people pleasing aspect to the detriment of your own needs too.
