I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it doesn’t get pulled or a shorter run this year. And maybe it should.
Spot on! Plus for people questioning why Zara didn’t say something at the time, have we not seen how people trolled Amanda when she made her claims about Giovanni? The fact multiple people have been afraid to come forward yet there was apparently footage available says the entire shows production team needs a revampThe thing is it depends who witnessed it. I said earlier how if it was a runner, a camera assistant etc essentially someone “low down” on the strictly ladder it could be really hard to have the guts to come forward and make an accusation against one of the professionals especially one who was well liked and well in with the producers. It doesn’t make it right but the fear of not being believed/being dragged into a dispute or losing their jobs would have been very real

Stockholm Syndrome doesn’t just happen to kidnap victims though. It can also happen when you’ve been abused by someone.I'm not sure I'd liken doing Strictly to being kidnapped, but then again, with so many stories like this, who knows. I hope Zara's alright, regardless of what happened.

I can believe this. After all, it’s pretty much the BBC’s biggest show, and as we know the BBC has a bit of a history of covering up for people. So you can see why some junior employee who is just pleased to get such a great job would not want to stick their neck out.The thing is it depends who witnessed it. Well, Gio might just be lucky that the things Amanda is alleging weren't caught on camera. Surely if they were they'd have taken decisive action rather than things dragging on forever. Also the fact that this situation has been dealt with so quickly makes me think either a) Graziano agreed to have training footage released to producers (although I assumer producers would have the right to see it anyway? Anyone with knowledge of this please inform me!!) and Giovanni is refusing to release his training footage or b) there is nothing in Strictly’s footage to incriminate Giovanni and the evidence Amanda is looking for is in another video (possibly recorded by Giovanni?)
Maybe I'm too cynical but it wouldn't surprise me if the BBC bosses think this will get the show more viewers. It raises the profile of the show, and people will also be curious to tune in to see if Graziano gets mentioned.
Yeah. And maybe they’ll re-run a few episodes of ‘Jim’ll Fix It’ while they’re at it, introduced by Huw Edwards.
No such thing as bad publicity, eh?
Yeah good point! I more so meant that they don’t have the evidence yet to sack Gio (as it’s being reported that Gio is blocking the release of certain footage) that they do regarding Graz given that he’s gone so quickly.Well, Gio might just be lucky that the things Amanda is alleging weren't caught on camera. Not really comparable
