I hate how Zara is getting the blame on her thread. She didn't raise the complaint and HE has been fired for gross misconduct due to his treatment AGAINST her. Why aren't they getting this? Plus the fact he's just been dropped like that, even Gio is facing an investigation not something so sudden and serious. I wonder if we will ever know. Although I still can't imagine it's much different from how the likes of Brendan and James used to behave, they were just lucky enough they worked on the show in a different time when people were far less likely to be held accountable for their actions.

I’m leaning towards that there was a personal issue, Strictly is intense, Graz lost his sh!t. Zara maybe aware of whatever was going on and just took it. Others perhaps viewed it as completely inappropriate and that you shouldn’t bring personal issues into the work place. Perhaps because Strictly now need to look into further, no choice but for him to go.
I have a feeling it could be something like this. Maybe he was dealing with something personally (hence the ‘there is more to this story’ on Graz’s first post) and lost his head and shouted at her, and a member of production/crew witnessed it and brought it up to producers when they were gathering evidence for all the Giovanni stuff. Maybe Zara knew of his personal stuff so didn’t see it to be an issue but HR did?

If they've not already got a female/ female pairing they'll probably be scrambling to sign someone who would be up for it.
I think GK Barry is likely a true rumour (random name to throw out otherwise) and she’s bisexual so may dance with a woman.

Feel so sorry for Zara. Graz has even said in his post that he regrets what happened, therefore he has admitted that he did do something wrong. Even if an attractive male admits he did something wrong it is still the woman that gets the blame.

Exactly this :( It sounds like his behaviour has been so bad it's made someone else uncomfortable on Zara's behalf, maybe she was OK with it, or maybe she was at the time and looking back she realises it wasn't OK, but either way, he has taken accountability himself and even then she still gets the blame? It's fucked. If he was ugly everyone would be straight on saying he was a slimy bastard.

Love how that article actually says duck all. 🙄

On one hand it seems like it has to be really bad that they've just straight up fired him, after standing behind Gio, on the other hand, why on earth has the complaint not come from Zara herself if it was something unequivocally abusive? I guess it'll be interesting to see what statement she makes, assuming she can legally say anything at all.

Not to defend him if he really has crossed a line of course, but Zara seeming to still like him months after the show makes me wonder if it's something where it's technically true that he hit her but not intentionally in an abusive way. Yes I know that sounds ridiculous but what I mean is, it reminds me of something a few years ago on DWTS Australia. A pro posted an instastory where his celeb was practising cha cha walks and he smacked her in the legs with an empty water bottle every time they weren't straight enough. There don't seem to have been any issues between them, they appear to still be friends, but I did think at the time 'hmm, that's probably technically illegal, even if she doesn't mind.'

OMG. I am really speechless.
What’s awful about this is, is at the time the production team must have been aware, then still didnt say anything about this when Amanda first came forward about Gio. I don’t understand how people can’t whistle blow on things like this straight away. If true he shouldn’t been able to do the arena tour or pro tour, it isn’t acceptable behaviour.
