Stacey really irritates me. She was good with her documentaries before she got too big for her boots and started doing naff telly instead.

Kevin just gives me major ick and yes, imagine having sex with him - no thanks!

They said, I hope they are very happy and cherish this baby.
 
The pros are still filming/rehearsing. They’ve done at least 16 hours a day for the last 4 days.

Why on earth are the judges paid their salary multiple times over when they’ve done absolutely nothing for the last 4 weeks that the pros have been rehearsing. And the series hasn’t even started yet!! Baffled me
 
I wonder if it's really worth it being a pro when you have to do those sorts of hours for pretty tit pay. Unless you're one of a few like Oti & Anton who get popular themselves, it's 6-10 years working your socks off on the show and then you basically fade away. They all say it's the best job in the world but surely it gets tiring after a while?

They should make a bunch of other ex pros judges and do away with the likes of Shirley and her mega salary. I can imagine many would be up for it and wouldn't cost nearly as much.

I don't know about anyone else but I couldn't care less for the judges, the best thing about strictly is the pro dancers.

Also what is it the pros are actually filming is it the pro dances they will be doing all season. I thought this was only a thing during covid. Didn't they just film them on the Friday or Saturday before covid. Maybe it is better doing it this way, I was just curious.
 
I suppose Shirley brings with her the kudos of being a bona fide judge in ‘proper’ dance competitions and she has actually done the hard yards.

It does seem unfairly skewed against the pro dancers, but I suppose they have also been there when the options for them weren’t terrific even for World Champions. Now they are in the tele every week for 3 months, there is Tour potential both troupe and solo and the price of dance lessons with them can double and have a waiting list. To some extent, the actual show is a loss leader.
 
Even pre covid they batch filmed some pro dances prior to the show starting. It was usually about half maybe a little less. They definitely prerecorded the first few weeks worth.

Apparently there’s been some issues though. I saw a tweet saying they kept the people for the audience waiting far longer than they should. Then they only got to see one dance before they called it a day and then something about being offered show tickets instead. (I can’t find the tweets now with the full details)

I do think we need a reshuffle of judges and shirls could 100% go and someone else could come in for way less money. It’s vile how much she’s on compared the pros show wage (tours and their other income streams excluded)

The judges getting paid so much more than the pros makes it even more infuriating when Motsi says things like ' I don't care about technique I loved your energy' 🙄
They could drag Sandra in off the street to say the same thing for free.
Do your damn job- you get paid enough! 😖
 
I'm starting to wonder if Luba is without a partner again this year - I know she's one of the more likely candidates to be benched, but her last story suggests she is a bit pissed off about something (or could just be that they're all knackered from working insane hours this week, which is understandable)

I see what you mean. #justice4luba if she doesn't get a partner this year. I think she's absolutely beautiful and was so sweet last year learning to sign for Rose.

I don't really get what the point of Strictly having certain pros is if they always bench them. Surely fairer to rotate them every year so everyone has had a chance to sit out. I know people say "but oh, [insert pro] is too popular, the public would riot" but the reality is, most people would get the duck over it and still watch.
