I think based on the fact that Kaye was in Glasgow yesterday and also does a large part of her job in the city then it’s pretty much confirmed she has Kai. I find it a bit weird especially after such a promising first series, meanwhile Gio gets another good partner.

I saw someone politely say on the DS spoiler thread that no one really cares about AJ now 😂 It’s true though, if they really believe the crazy things they come up with then they need help.
 
To be fair, I’d rather the celeb get the pro who will give them the best Strictly time than be shuffled off onto someone else who ‘is due a duffer’. It’s a one time only, big commitment thing for the celebs. They might as well have someone who is going to make it an enjoyable for them, whatever their dance prowess. We’ve seen enough partnerships where it’s been put together by numbers and been a complete botch.

Kai seemed a nice lad going from his first season, very easy-going and cheerful, and well up on the unspoken rules of how to come over well on both the show itself and on It Takes Two/The One Show, etc. I'm sure he'd be a good partner for someone who's perhaps not the best natural dancer or has had no training.

Kaye did look stiff as a board in the little instagram clip, but we have been mistaken before in people's dance abilities. However, if she is crummy, I am sure Kai will choreograph a LOVELY waltz/American Smooth/Viennese Waltz for her where he can just pivot her around the dance floor in the time-honoured fashion of Anton, and she will have had a nice time anyway. And it won't be like those horrible awkward partnerships where the pro is pushing some poor exhausted soul with no natural rhythm to train 14 hours a day and gets naffed off with them when they can't do a Charleston.

If you know you don’t stand a cat in hell’s chance of troubling even the mid stage of the show, then there’s a lot to be said for a sedentary Cha Cha followed by a nice waltz in whatever the outcome of Vicky Gill’s latest cheese dream was a nice outfit with nice comments and a not too horrific score with a kind pro.

For the pro, you never know you might do so well you end up acquiring a Sara-For-Life.
