Emma is driving me mad. Take a shot every time she says “Harry” and you’d be drunk in 30 mins. He knows his name and so do we!
He does the same thing though, says “Mum” in every sentence.

Billy and Bonnie are ace. Really rooting for them.

Mel comes across as a bit spoilt, has never got her hands dirty.

Alex is definitely struggling (I don’t like to label but there’s an obvious reason), he might burn out eventually.
 
I’m afraid I’m a bit smitten with Harry, he’s quite handsome 😍🤣

his mum is ok, I didn’t like her use of the word bereavement but maybe it was a mistake. I think loss and grief (which is not just about death) is different to a bereavement and it’s a bit insensitive to those who have actually lost their children.
But I do understand that many parents, mums especially, struggle with the empty nest syndrome. It must be quite strange and unusual when it’s because your child has become an international popstar touring the world for months at a time. it must have been very surreal for her. So I do have some sympathy for how that might have impacted her.
 
Honestly I think Alex is just spoilt and precious who thinks he is more important than he is. I don't think there's more to it than that.

Loving this series though, all are great except Alex.

And bereavement is the right word for Harry's mum. I'm genuinely shocked how many on here haven't heard of this form of empty nest syndrome. From everything harry has said he left very abruptly leaving no chance for parents to get used to the idea. It's a form of grief.
 
I'm warming more to Emma. She's a do-er. I'm still struggling with Mel. She just seems to be much more of a passenger. It was lovely to see her bonding more with her mum and it was an interesting insight to hear about her surgery and move to France but there's something I can't quite connect to with her yet. Alex just seems a bit abrupt and self centred but vaguely aware that this is who he is. It'll be interesting to see how things unfold.
 
Harry's mum is just one of those people who wind me up. I don't have any other explanation for it. She's annoying. And there doesn't seem to be much to Harry 🤷‍♀️

Can't help but love Mel and her mum, very relatable. Alex seems like a truly terrible person, really dismissive of the guy who put him up and whowas so proud of where he lived, they barely seemed to appreciate the views, even - too busy complaining about the showers. Billy, don't get me started on him, he's remarkable, I'll cry. Much better route than the dreaded motorways of Canada.
