Liam Payne #5

Re: the Cheryl relationship, I never thought she groomed him, but I did think it was weird that she dated a guy she had originally met as a 14 year old boy then again as a 16yr old boy but I always thought it was her desire to be a mum and be in a relationship and the celeb dating pool is so small to choose from that she went with him.

Iv also saw and read some old interviews where Liam says he was scared of Cheryl at times and other things - I get the feeling she called the shots a lot esp once Bear came along and she dictates a lot even before his MH & addiction issues.

I also believed that Cheryl ended up with Liam because she wanted a child, celeb dating pools are small and the opportunity presented itself. I can also imagine that their dynamic involved her wearing the trousers and mothering him a bit. This happens in a lot of relationships without age gaps. I can’t imagine Liam was the most mature, self-assured guys back then (or ever) because he went straight from teenage boy to megastar. On the one hand you have to grow up fast, on the other you miss out on so many aspects of “normal” growing up.

Anyone seen this new photo

I think this is getting a bit silly now. A single snapshot showing Liam’s head hanging down like that doesn’t prove that he was unconscious. It’s equally likely that he could have grown tired of holding his head up and let it drop for a second. It’s impossible to know.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that as part of the investigation Roger had to surrender his passport, so even if he was invited he wouldn't have been able to attend the funeral anyway. However with the pending charge, it's unlikely he was invited to start with.
I wouldn't imagine Karen and Geoff would have wanted him at the funeral. If someone was implicated in the death of my child, I couldn't even consider initiating any kind of contact.

Especially with that weird letter he sent Geoff in the summer too, I'd say they probably didn't approve of him well before all this 😕

He's burnt all his bridges with liams loved ones now thats for sure!

In the TMZ show, they also talk to someone who claims to have seen Liam falling. He was there for his wedding, and he claims he and his guests saw Liam a few times during the day, and each time, he was more and more intoxicated, and the last time he saw him before the accident was him being taken up to his room by security. It was a short while later that the guy and his wedding planner saw someone falling from his room, and when they ran to the balcony to check, Liam was lying there and had already passed from what he could see.

If true, and it does seem to line up with what others said, it contradicts Roger's claim that while Liam was a bit tipsy, he was fine, and that's why he left him alone.

It feels so uncomfortable knowing that those who've spoken to the TMZ documentary have probably received payment for speaking about Liam's death.
Roger especially who was close to Liam for several years.
If he was a true friend the only statement he'd give to TMZ would be that they are absolutely disgusting for violating his 'dearest friends' privacy, and have left his family with the ongoing torment that inevitably his little boy will see that photograph.

Brett's account of what happened has changed and is different from his wedding planners.

Whilst in the room, the wedding planner stated Brett wasn't facing the window, so he wouldn't have seen Liam fall as he's now claiming he did. Also everything he's saying is from other people's accounts of what they apparently seen. Nothing from what he actually seen.

Every person who has been questioned in relation to this has changed their story at least once.

Brett, Braian and Roger have given no thought for Liam's young son or his family whilst taking money for this so called documentary. Especially from the agency that publish photos of his body, taking away any dignity he had left. It makes me sick.

The massuse who was one of the 3 people who carried Liam to his room also gave an interview to TMZ. I've put it behind a spoiler just incase as it isn't nice to imagine 😕
Daniel recalled: "We picked him up and a blonde girl employee told us to take him to the room. It looked like he was having a psychotic episode.

"He was convulsing, foam out of his mouth. There was a moment where he stood up and we took him through the hallway he was trying to go somewhere else but they were guiding him. I didn't go into his room but I saw it was a mess."

What I find most disturbing is reading the Liam Payne thread #1 on here, where people were taking the piss out of him, his looks, his obvious addiction, his failure to make hit music after 1D - and then he died and suddenly everyone was crying. I so wish Liam had been arrested in Argentina, maybe sectioned, forced into rehab, instead of his story ending in such a tragic way.

We all do 💔😣

I didn't know that he changed his story. It just proves people will do and say anything if it gets them a bit of fame and some money, the worst being Roger. If he was so intent on getting his version of what happened out there, surely there were better options than the website that showed postmortem pictures of someone and then made up some crappy excuse for why they did it.

Same. I had a look through the 1D thread as well, and it was the same. Really really sad. I keep thinking of his poor parents as well. They must be heartbroken.

I remember being shocked at his buccal fat removal transformation on the red carpet thinking, cor that's gone a bit far but not for one second did I feel inclined to tweet, share a post or worse, post a tiktok making fun of him for it. If people would stop for one second before doing things like that it would make a huge difference.
Also posting about his looks is one thing but making fun of failure and addiction is just evil. I think he saw it all online which is awful.

I wonder how much the online piss taking affected him? On the Robbie Williams doc, he said he’d search his name and read horrible comments about his life and it would make him feel bad.

It's really made me stop and think before I say anything negative about someone, whether it's online or a gossip with friends. I never knew much about Liam until he died but seeing some of the things people posted on his social medias before he passed are just heartbreaking there's no way that didn't affect him

His sister even had horrible comments about her own wedding and posted back about it, mainly about her appearance and Cheryl's outfit choice. How spiteful making fun of someone you'll never know just because your brother and his partner are famous 😞
I do feel for 🐻 too, as for his whole lifetime, before anyone knew Liam had any issues, there's still tons of articles, posts, videos etc about how either his mum trapped his dad or groomed his dad and even ones suggesting he was purely a PR stunt 🤢

It seems Liam had an addictive personality in so many aspects of life so it wouldn't shock me if he went searching for it. It's a really easy thing to do. A while a go I had a random reel get lots of attention (complete fluke) and 90% comments were nice but I only concentrated on the 10% weird/nasty ones. The brain is strange.

Probably even when Bear is an adult people will leave mean comments on his socials etc, unless laws are put in place which I doubt. Honestly, no wonder Cheryl and Liam kept him out of the public
