Someone asked them if Crabbe should be allowed in the girls' dormitories if he had taken the potion to become Hermione. Someone else asked whether Barty Crouch should have stayed on as DADA teacher as long as he was taking the potion to become Moody.

I mean, I know it sounds like they must have been taking the piss but you honestly can't tell any more; they are now so genuinely absurd that they're beyond parody. This person really did seem to be genuine, especially as they very quickly got incredibly angry...

Sounds like lacking basic understanding of the entire plot. Barty didn’t become Moody by taking the potion, he just assumed the appearance and acted, more or less, the part! If these people do not understand that, or that a tit like Crabbe shouldn’t be allowed in a girl dorm because he, for a limited amount of time at that, took on the appearance of a girl, then what else do they not get?

I was watching an episode of Junior TaskMaster (don't judge me) and one of the tasks wanted biscuits pushed through a sieve. One contestant wrote 'sieve' on a label and stuck it to another object so they could push the biscuits through it easily. When it came to the judging time, a different child pointed out that you can't just put a label on something and it becomes that thing.

Out of the mouths of babes...
 
Ohhh, remember when she was teasing us for years with "scar" being one of the final or even the final words in HP 7? There are only 10 more words after scar and I wrecked my brain thinking about what it could mean.

Good to see Warner Bros allowing JKR to have her views 🙄🤣 Perhaps because they know they can make an absolute fortune from the HP series and in these hard financial times they don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth 🤣

The whole cancelling of JKR by the people she helped make very rich for entirely moderate and reasonable views m is utterly disgraceful to be honest, hope we are starting to see the end of this madness.
 
I read an article that said 2020 was "peak woke" and that a re balancing was happening.

I think since Trumps re-election, moderates and hopefully liberals are beginning to realise that the exceptionally pushy virtue signalling agenda is dead , because regular people are not concerned about it when they have far more pressing concerns like feeding their families and paying their mortgage.

If the forces of moderation and decency are to have any chance against the waves of MAGA ism , populism and activism, they need to abandon this ridiculous ideology and focus on bread and butter issues.

I think we will see JK becoming quietly un cancelled and the views of those idiot actors will seem incredibly out of touch

I can believe this. 2020 was really febrile, we were all going quietly mad, and the internet was one of the only outlets for socialisation. I mean, I don’t think the response to George Floyd globally would have been quite so massive and so violent if it hadn’t been 2020.

But even aside from the BLM movement, we had the trans social contagion really taking hold, whether that was teens being brainwashed into transitioning themselves, or at the very least being brainwashed into being TRAs.
