Thank you 😊 I feel really sad we won’t have her after the next couple of episodes, she has been the standout for me.

For those of you feeling like the show is missing a Littlefinger/schemer type character then keep your eyes on Larys Strong (the clubfooted character who was sitting in on the ladies of the court’s conversation) 👀

100% I wish they could have kept her for the first season and then switch for season 2
 
Was anyone else laughing at the sex scenes?Rhaenyra was supposed to be a virgin but was getting fingered in a brothel by her uncle then was riding her kingsguard in her bedroom like really confident found it utterly unbelievable for a virgin 😂😂😂. Go girl though least she had fun before being married off to a minger and lying back and thinking of England 🤣

And Alicent. She was really just pissed off that Rhaenyra got to have all the fun while she was stuck at home with her geriatric lepar of a husband on top of her. She’ll be pregnant again soon.

I’m so happy she got her first go with that gorgeous guard 🤣 Also glad they addressed the medieval version of the morning-after pill because that was stressing me out!

It was my favourite episode so far. I just love all the internal politics. No one does it like GRRM.
 
I enjoyed this episode but echo what everyone else was saying 😂 She was on about loving solitude then getting (censored) by two blokes in one night 🤣🤣 talk is cheap.

I haven't read the books but I wonder if she did take the medieval Plan B! I never take anything for granted unless it's shown on screen 😂

I did think it a bit hypocritical of Alicent when she said “you Targaryens have your queer ways.” Hun, you married your best friend’s dad after your own dad told you to seduce him (wearing your dead mother’s dress no less), and now you have babies with him. Also none of them were opposed to the idea of Rhaenyra being betrothed to her infant half-brother. Can’t believe I’m defending incest…🥴

Moon tea (plan b) is mentioned in the books (Margaery Tyrell has Maester Pycelle make her it several times in book 5) but there is no mention of it as far as Rhaenyra is concerned. It is possible she might have I suppose.
 
I'm listening to a HOTD podcast and they made reference to Daemon being impotent, I definitely missed that! I also wondered if he just got Rhaenyra in there to be seen in public because he knows how everyone would talk and it would ruin her chances of marriage. Or did he have a come to Jesus moment and realize shagging his neice was a faux pas? ;)

i dont think Matt Smith himself thought he’d nail this role and how the way he has! Couldn’t think of a better cast!
Anyone else think they its super sexy when Daemon and Rhaenyra speak to each other in high valyrian

no he's not impotent she marries Daemon later and has 2 sons with him one who will sit on the iron throne after the dance of dragons .

I don't think he went the whole way because he actually loves her kind but didn't want her first time to be in a brothel . He talks to very lovingly to her in high valyrian. I hope the new actress has the same chemistry with him. He didn't know they would get found out so he could have done it. I don't think he solely wants to be with her because of her position even in the first episode he liked her. I can't believe I'm shipping incest 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
