Horror films

Not a big fan of horror, but I do like:-
The Haunting (1963)
The Thing (1981)
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)
Evil Dead 2 (1987) (Plus the TV show "Ash Vs Evil Dead")
Blair Witch Project (1999)
Paranormal Activity (2007)
Ringu (1994)
Alien & Aliens
American Werewolf in London (1982)
Zombies: Dawn of the Dead (1978)
Zombies: Day of the Dead (1985)

Any Netflix recommendations? Fancy watching a good horror tonight as it’s Halloween - not keen on supernatural stuff but anything else!

I love Hammer films and anything from the silent age through to the 80s slashers.
I'm also a lover of Hammer Films and also the TV series Hammer House of Horror which I have on DVD.
Big fan of Frankenstein, in fact I have most of the movies, bit of a collector but I will not get every film
because there are a few crap ones.

Dracula (original)
The Mummy (original)
The Omen trilogy
The Fly (original)

Not a film but series- The Haunting of Hill House is genuinely one of the most jumpy things I've seen and unlike most horror films it actually has a decent storyline, it's more of a horror family drama mix I guess?

The Omen (original) is good especially when you read up on what apparently happened to some of the cast and crew afterwards.

I liked Hereditary until the ending. Midsommar was plain weird, it wasn't really a horror it was just freaky!
I do enjoy The Conjuring/Annabelle etc series for what they are, just cheap horror thrills. I also used to love the Final Destination films as a teen again for very cheap shocks.

Oh, I love horror movies! Horrors and thrillers are my favourites so I can recommend plenty of them! If you want to get scared I can really recommend Halloween (which I see someone above has already recommended but it's really worth seeing!). I also love Amityville which is based of facts. And of course: insidious, it, the nun, 1922 and split (but it's more a thriller).

I love the Conjuring movies, I also got really freaked out from Hostel 2 as it is possibly true 😱
Love Hostel 2 !

A little bump as it’s coming up to Halloween 🎃 tell us the most fucked up movies you have seen!
Being off work since April, I watched A LOT of strange movies😬
The girl next door (2007) absolutely traumatic
Megan is missing - every 14 year old should watch this!
we need to talk about Kevin. Harrowing
Has anybody any new suggestions for me please? 🤗
August Uunderground is the most messed up film ive seen. Or Terrifier 2

Those Terrifier movies are so gory I’m sure the directors a real sadist 😂
They are. To be honest those films are the most messed up, but i didnt enjoy either. I enjoy the hostel films until the gore starts, I find the start of them way more scary than seeing people get cut up 🤣 Hostel 2 put me off travelling for life

I’ve just watched the film “men” that’s on prime. I remember seeing the trailer when it was coming out thinking “oh that looks quite scary” well… WTF is all I have to say.
I have no idea what I’ve just bloody watched

30 Days of Night
Husk
The Reeds
Zombieland (quite funny too)
Zombieland : Double Tap
