Your tips on how to look more Groomed, Glamorous or Polished #13

If you do not love your lady shave, try out safety razors. That is the closest shave you will ever get

Speaking of being hairless: my epilator just died. Can anyone recommend one? Some are £50 and others are £100. Some off them have scary reviews. I have read too much and now I am a bit lost. I prefer one with a cord and would love it if it gets all the hairs in one go
Get Braun for epilator or lady shaver. Can't go wrong.

Hi, has anyone got or used the Phillips Lumea hair remover?

My husband has offered to buy me one for Christmas but I want to check out reviews first. Thank you ☺️

Mine is on its last legs. Have had for about 10 years and it has been great for me. I am pale with dark hair and it has worked a treat. I very rarely shave my armpits or legs which for someone who was very hairy was very liberating! I use it on my facial hair too and while it helps it hasn’t reduced it that much but I think that’s more hormonal driven so will be less effective anyway. I will be replacing mine!

I have the Braun one and it’s fantastic!

I’ll take a look, thanks!

Sounds good to me, I’m fair with fair hair but to be honest after years of waxing my legs they are sporadic there anyway so hopefully it wouldn’t take much to eradicate them 🤣

Have you used it on your bikini line?

If you have fair skin and hair I would double check the chart to make sure it will be effective for you 😊 (if you haven’t already though and I’m just butting in unnecessarily 😆)

Have you checked your suitability with it as know it works better on certain skin/hair types more than others? I can’t remember off the top of my head
I have yes and think if you just wanted bikini line it would be do the trick but I still get waxed as I like a bit more off and it definitely doesn’t work well elsewhere for me!

Fair with fair hair doesn’t work for Lumea sadly - if your roots are blonde (pull out a pube and check 😆) you’ll be wasting your time sadly.

Can someone have any recommendations for really bad eczema. It’s on my forehead and it’s red and angry. The stuff I’ve had from the doctor hasn’t helped
Cerave advanced repair ointment has saved my skin. Can't recommend it enough. I had terrible eczema on my eyes and now it's gone. If it feels like it's flaring I just put some on and it clear it up.

Have you any food intolerance? I had awful trouble with my forehead and nothing cleared it up. Until I had a food intolerance test for something else and it totally cleared up when I excluded foods.

Thanks for this, no I hadn’t checked.

Sadly I don’t think this will be for me. I checked my legs and the front hair is mousy but the side and backs are really blonde 😩

Damn it 🤣🤣

Overnight curl/heatless curl ladies. What's your secret. In the first 2 hours I have beautiful victoria secret model locks of hair and then they drop out. I do then in clean hair - wash & conditioner. I've used mark hill styling spray, hello curls curl primer & colour wow raise the root. All used on separate occasions followed by firm hair spray. Where am I going wrong?

I find dirty hair is best for this sort of thing, clean is too soft for styling. Also a dry wax spray may give a bit more hold. The KMS dry wax is fantastic.

So random but does anyone else get loads of whiteheads in their eyebrows? I’ve tried chemical and physical exfoliants which remove them briefly but then they come back. It’s so embarrassing. I have psoriasis but it’s well controlled with light therapy and emollient front my gp.

Do you use any make up in your brows? Does any product say heavy moisturiser go over the area?

Does anyone have any idea of sizing on Blundstone boots? The website I'm looking at has a cracking deal on but mentions that woman must choose the size below? But the listing is all listed correctly as the UK/EU size? I'm so confused!

Could someone please offer some skincare advice.

I have never seen anyone with my skin type before.
It’s dry and oily at the same time. It’s VERY flaky, if I rub my cheek, skin will flake off. There’s almost a layer of dead skin on top of my skin. I’m thinking something like a glycolic acid might help?

In America men’s sizes show as bigger than women for the same size shoe, in the UK shoe sizing is unisex. I have just checked and the sizing is Australian, I think that this is the opposite to American sizes, women shoe sizes show as bigger than men sizes fit the same size shoe

That size chart under Size Guide is wrong. Australian and UK sizes aren’t the same for women. I’m a UK 6.5 or 7, American 9.5 and an Australian 9.5.

I would order your European size tbh.
