Has anyone ever ordered directly from GHD? I treated myself to the GHD duet style brush in their Black Friday deals (it dries and straightens hair at the same time) last Friday and had an email to say it was dispatched on Saturday but no update since then. I’ve whatsapped GHD customer service who said they have lost the parcel and will send a replacement with a new tracking code but it’s been radio silence since then! Are they known for bad customer service or something? Or am I just unlucky? It’s my first time ordering from them

also want to hear peoples reviews of the GHD duet style if anyone has tried it already please. I thought it was overpriced at £369 but could stretch to £269 in the sales!

Two weeks ago I ordered an emergency Gold styler after my Platinum died and it arrived next day.

Didn't need to contact GHD after, but I've ordered other things direct from them in the past and never had any problem.

Is the new tracking code not working?

Oh that’s good to know, the trust pilot reviews of GHD are abysmal. They haven’t given me a new tracking code despite me whatsapping customer service multiple times for one, they just say it’s on its way with parcel force

So I have naturally wavy hair which is out of control and unmanageable (I do use a curler as without it I look like Hagrid) As soon as I go out in this colder weather it becomes notty and frizzy. I've tried everything including the colourwow stuff but nothing is helping. Any recommendations on something that will make my hair soft and actually look nice?
Hair oiling helps me a lot, as well as leaving masks on for a long time. I often apply them to dry hair and leave for a few hours then wash hair. Leave in products are important too, I always apply a serum, a mist and an oil and reapply the oil to my ends during the week.

Hair oil has been a game changer for my wavy/frizzy, fine but loads of hair. I use a dupe from Aldi.

The one thing that has helped my similar-sounding hair is a kerasilk blowdry. Pricy!! But has made a difference. Hair is still a bit frizzy but only as much as ‘normal’ frizzy hair. And so much softer

My hair goes frizzy in rain, humidity, cold weather..
I’m using Aussie 100 hours of hydration serum, the stuff in the blue tube. No conditioner, just this. You only need a very small amount and it’s not heavy or sticky. It’s working for me, even worked on holiday with hot sun and swimming.

Has anyone got a Dyson Air wrap? And if so are they good value for the high price? Through my employer I can currently purchase stuff from Currys through a scheme making it more affordable, not sure whether to go for the Air Wrap or a Shark Flex Style which is over £200 cheaper but still expensive, don't want to get either and be stuck with an expensive bit of kit I don't like. The problem is I feel like all the reviews that come up when you search for help are just paid promotions masquerading as impartial reviews

I’ve got the air wrap, was a waste of money for me. I only use it as a hairdryer. Can’t use the things that curl
Your hair my hair just won’t wrap around them no matter how much I try or what products I use! My hair type is fine wavy frizzy and curly.

I feel like I wasted my money on the Dyson. It’s easy to use, admittedly, after just one or two practices but just no amount of product makes my hair hold the curl that they make. So that just renders it useless for me. I use it as a hair dryer and occasionally give myself a more voluminous blow dry with the dryer brush, but hell i could have bought one of them for £20 from b&m
