Does anyone else struggle with getting a positive ovulation test? I can get a faint line but it never goes anywhere near as strong enough as the control line ☹
I have the past 2 months but tracking BBT confirmed I ovulated from the temperature spike. You could also get Proov PDG strips which help confirm ovulation but they're pricey at £30 for 5 (you test 7dpo-10dpo)

I'm out. Again. 😒😢

I'm disappointed, but I'm putting it purely down to numbers now. There's something like a 20% chance of being successful each month. We did everything we could; timed everything right, improved our diets, kept active, took the right supplements. The numbers were just against us. It's maths. I've always hated maths 😒😂. (You have to laugh sometimes, right?)

So today is sulking day. Tomorrow I order a new batch of ovulation tests and we start again.

So frustrating isn’t it. So many things have to line up but sometimes they just don’t ☹️

So sick of taking pregnancy tests every other day just to keep seeing a negative.. really wish my body would sort itself out, been off contraception for a month now and still haven’t started my period

When/how do you guys decide when to take a pregnancy test? I'm on cycle day 26, normal cycle length is 27 days according to my Flo app..I'm itching to test even though I know I need to wait and see if my period shows up or is late. I'm at the antsy stage though where I'm over analysing every little symptom that's probably nothing 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I’ve stopped burying my head in the sand and realised i have fertility problems. I’ve been referred for tests to see what the actual tissue is but I feel so down. It seems like everyone around me is pregnant and ive just failed. Hopefully i get some answers from the tests I’ve been referred for and I’m not waiting long. I don’t want to feel jealous of everyone falling pregnant but last night i cried myself to sleep

8 months in and.. nothing. I’m holding off for a while as I’m due to have a mini heart op in the next month or two followed by my friends wedding in May. And to think when we decided to start trying back in Aug, I thought I’d be having our baby in the not so distant future 😅

Quick one. I had to do a pregnancy test while in the doctors earlier for something else… it was negative and I’m on CD23. Does that mean iv no chance of testing positive or is it too soon for it to give a positive result?

I was hoping, this cycle, to primarily track my cm and then when i thought i was ovulating confirm it with an opk.
Didn't get much cm and out of nowhere yesterday, cd12, i peaked on opk..... no flashy straight to peak, wasn't expecting that either as I'd the empty circle the day before and no flashy in the lead up to peak. I confirmed peak with an easy@home strip, i don't use the app just look at the strip colour myself, it was quite strong.
My question is, if not much cm produced will I ovulate? I must keep remembering opk is only showing LH surge.
And can anyone care to share their knowledge of ovulation/cm correlation please.

I believe CM varies a lot from person to person? I’m not sure I’ve ever noticed EWCM myself, and I still managed to conceive my first child.

I was the opposite, I had EWCM but tested low on OPK’s and then a week later tested positive on an OPK. I believe the increase in CM is showing you are getting ready to ovulate, not necessarily ovulating and it can vary a lot for different women.

my cm was just extremely wet around ovulation, not EWCM at all.

Hi, I'm new to this thread! and pretty heartbroken, its my first month trying because I ovulated for the first time in over 6 months, I've been getting cramps ever since so I was feeling hopeful, and the app I use is saying I'm late for my period by 4 days giving me some hope, but then again, thats how long my cycles are when I'm not ovulating and I worked out that I'm 11dpo since I ovulated quite late, but my test is negative :(
is there any hope it could turn positive or should I just give up testing and accept its negative :(

There’s still hope! I was testing negative all the way up until my missed period. Fingers crossed for you xx
