It’s difficult working 8-5 I can’t test during the day. I was on my own in the office this week but otherwise I can’t so I sometimes miss it 🥴
I take a pot to wee in and the easy@home sticks with me to work. Not sure what your office layout is but the start of my lunch I just pop into the cubicle and sit in their for 5 mins while it develops. Our toilets are in the hallway of shared office rooms so colleagues think I’ve just popped out for lunch when in reality I’m sat in the toilet but they have no idea. Currently sat waiting for todays to develop right now 🙈 I can imagine it’s harder if the toilet is visible from the office space though!

How long do people leave it before talking to a doctor about TTC? I'm 35, had my inplant taking out in May and got pregnant when I wasn't really trying in August. I had a MC at the end of September and my period returned in November but no luck since. I have issues with my thyroid so want to get that checked just in case but I'm worried it won't happen again. I've been tracking my ovulation and I at least get a regular surge and AF. Don't know whether to give my head a shake and calm down or whether there's something to be worried about

As you are over 35, you can see a Dr after 6 months of trying. (Under 35 is 1 year).

I would book an appointment as you are coming up to 6 months since you last conceived. They will be able to give you some advice on next steps. Good luck xx

Thank you. Managed to get a telephone appointment ad I wanted to get my thyroid checked anyway and after explaining everything he's booked me in for blood tests to check hormones and progesterone. I wasn't expecting them to be so helpful

i do the same! Just tested now and its the same as this mornings test so hoping I might be at my peak by tonight’s test. Either way I’m dtd as I’m off on a girls weekend until Sunday.

how many times a day do you test? Do you do the automatic detection with your camera or add them manually due to lighting etc.?

The automatic one annoyed me so I took a picture from my phone camera then manually added it

Regards to my office is like a unit where the is only one toilet and I can't really test if my colleauge is here with me as it just one big room with our desks 🙈

I test at lunch in the evening because mines always low in the morning no matter what. I guess you’ve just got to give it a few months to find your pattern! Since my morning is always low it saves on the cost of some sticks.

I add mine manually too. Using the automatic I can take three photos in a row in the same lighting and it gives me a different number for each 🙈

Does anyone take soy isoflavones supplement? Yesterday was the first I've tried it and I barely slept a wink last night 😩 I've taken today's dose before lunchtime just incase! But I was just wondering if anyone else had side effects like this?

My partner (26) has just been told by his dad that he’s having a baby with his partner and my first thought was just sadness it’s not us. I’ve never felt like it before and feel awful that I’m not happy for them but all I can think is why wasn’t it us 😢

If you watch that you tube video someone put up there yesterday (the previous page) the doctor explains that everyone's levels are lowest in the morning which is why you're not advised to test until late morning/ afternoon.

Ooooh I’ll definitely give that a watch tomorrow.

I’ve always wondered.. the number it gives you.. some peoples peak number is higher than mine and others lower. Does this relate to being more or less fertile? Or am I just overthinking my number along with everything else 🙈

I know exactly how you feel. I felt the exact same when my brother in law and his partner announced her their pregnancy recently. I’m of course happy for them and a baby is a blessing but there’s still a part of me that has that sinking feeling that it’s not us and I’ll admit that happiness wasn’t my initial emotion either. There was a part of me that felt selfish and guilty that I made their news about my own feelings. Thankfully I wasn’t present when they announced! My husband just reminds me that we will have all of that to come. Sometimes it helps, other times I just have to sit with the emotions I have and that’s okay.

Sorry for the ramble. Just please know that those emotions you’re feeling are valid and it doesn’t make you a bad person. Sending love ❤

Thank you for sharing your experience too! It’s reassuring having those feelings validated.
I felt awful last night, luckily his dad decided to tell him over text so I didn’t have to react immediately. My partner tried to cheer me up and then pointed out that it’ll be weird having our child so close to his brother as a way of reassuring me that we’ll have that soon.

Negative today, gutted again 😞 Does it make a difference if you test in morning or afternoon

If it’s early, you’re better to test using FMU as your levels are higher. Obviously once you get to a few days/a week past your missed period, you’d test positive at any time of day.
