At the end of the day there will always be people worse off but that doesn't mean she shouldn't be upset or crying on Instagram, the seller might think what a load of tit and bin the letter, but atleast she knows she's tried and can move on to something else.

Well those who have donated can do what they want with their money. I honestly don't believe she did this for money, she needed support. her stories are not for material gain. She could do a tiktok account and work with companies as an influencer but she doesn't. I have donated and I'm happy for my money to go to her. I'm certain that actually she will struggle to accept it for her.

Like you say you don’t follow her so you don’t know her, Kate never cries on stories so I don’t think her being honest is cringe. She said her family members are skint or don’t want to help so I think that answers your questions, thanks for stopping by……
 
I know she can buy but surely if this money doesn't help her get this flat with a higher bid, then she'll be able to rent somewhere whilst searching and not having to worry about rent/saving more 💕

Then again the rental market is crap and where j live houses are barely online for more than a day 🙈

How will she explain the extra funds to her mortgage advisor 🤔 we had to have a signed letter from one parent who gifted us money to promise it was a gift and not a loan etc

Good for her though, I think she's had a really tough few years and has really got her kids happiness as top priority.

Yes we had to too so that’s a far point 🤔

Randomly my bf said to me yesterday would you drink a pint of melted butter for £10k and I said to him would you be taxed on it? Would the bank get funny about the money? Before I could even consider it 😂😂😂 and it was completely hypothetical
 
I’ve always liked Kate and I do really feel for her situation. But buying a 1 bed above a shop for 4 people is just not suitable for her or the kids or the neighbours. Realistically she cannot afford to buy so whilst the go fund me is nice it’s a drop in the ocean. Has Lee had more money or something?

Quite possibly earns more and if he has another partner then her income too. I'd of held out until the youngest was 18. But I also can't blame her for wanting to move on after 3 years

this is it isn't it, unless the GFM reaches 100k or something it's not really going to make much difference, it won't be taken into account for her mortgage offer which goes off affordability,
will only be able to be used as deposit or upfront and 15k isnt enough to push her into the next bracket of housing

Yeah, as nice as it is she cannot afford to buy a suitable property unless it’s £100k plus in gifts
 
I just don't get why everyone feels sorry enough to donate money for a sob story? She's not tbe only person single with kids. She's said herself she's got money just not enough to buy a decent house. I'd just rent for a while (yes it's dead money but it's better than a flat above a shop surely) or move area again I know she's lived there forever but cmon some things have to give rather than live in somewhere naff.

Also why is Lee the bad guy for having a new gf? Genuine question

So because she isn’t the only person in this situation, she doesn’t deserve help?

I don’t think he’s a bad person for getting a new GF. I think he’s a bad person for making her sell a house she has lived in since she was 7, and the kids live in a one bed flat just so he can get his half of the house money (if that is the case)
 
I really feel for her. She must be broken now he’s with her mate. Sounds like this was the final push she needed as she said she’d never leave that place. Looks like she’s ready to move on. Bless her.

what a horrible situation to be in with him and his new gf breathing down her neck.
