Surely a one bedroom with 3 kids the ages they are is completely unsuitable 😬 the oldest doesn’t want to be sharing a space with his 7 year old sister 😬 it’s wrong…

Also not very fair for the neighbours too as 4 people in such a small space will end up with a lot of noise and stuff spilling out into communal areas.

I don’t think this is begging as she didn’t set up this for herself. Her friend also said she was aware of the situation months ago and offered to set up a GoFundMe page and Kate said no. The difference with Kate is that she could easily post affiliated links to earn money but she doesn’t, another difference between her and another Instagramers is that she works a couple of jobs to pay for her children whereas the others don’t work at all and earn all of their money off their followers

She didn’t set it up for herself but she’s happy to share it?
I think the GFM link she posted yesterday night for a lady who is losing her life puts this into perspective. £17k because she wants to buy somewhere to live but the lady who’s dying only had a couple of thousand…

This is what I can't get my head around!
Also selling the van would probably boost her £5k+… nobody wants to sell their things but when needs must that’s what happens.

Did anyone else pick up in her latest story she said she wants the kids to want to come and visit her. The way she said it implied they wouldn't be living with her? I know custody would be shared but I would expect her to word it that it's their home too?

I think if people are choosing to donate money to her towards the cost of the move, then she has every right to take it as long as it’s used towards housing / moving costs 🤷‍♀️ she isn’t doing anything wrong by accepting the money people have raised for her. GFM pages are for all sorts of reasons, I don’t think it’s very fair to turn on Kate for something plenty of others are doing / have done.

Not turning on her at all. I’m glad she’s getting the help, but sharing the post as someone has “asked” when it’s already on her stories is just plugging for more money. Just own it and say ok I’m actively pushing this myself rather than saying “I’m so embarrassed, I’d never ask for help, I’m not asking for help, I didn’t set this up… but here’s my link”.

I know it's not ideal but surely moving further away will benefit the kids if her reality is going to be a 1 bed upper floor flat with no garden. She can drive so she can still take them to school easily, I wonder how even a 20min commute would effect the property she could afford 🤔

Unfortunately living on the coast is really that expensive, even going 20 mins away, the price doesn’t change that much. We left the south because of how expensive it is and wanted to give our children a better life, bigger home etc.
