Yeah, I did not enjoy that. There I am, taking a lovely stroll through my quiet village on a crisp sunny morning with my baby, next thing you know - sounds of mauling. Great. Thanks.Mia has got so ghastly
Why is Brad with her?
And OMG poor Kenton. That was actually quite traumatic to listen to.
Yes, I feel like they could have left it at a vicious sounding growl and a bark and then cut it off there. In the depths of my post-partum anxiety I was incredibly concerned about dog attacks (baby is 11 months old now so he was born around the time the XL bully attacks really got media coverage) and I'm very glad this episode didn't happen then!I was sure from the sound effects the dog had gone for his throat - it was his side and leg.
I listened to it on Sounds in bed before going to sleep. Not soothing.
I reckon they wanted to make it a gang of travellers but then someone said hang on, we'll get criticism for racial discrimination/profiling etc. from the travelling community so let's not.I guess the dog attack is fitting in with the current XL chat. it was awful! I felt like they were trying to make out they were travellers but after what Jolene said yesterday I think it’s more bikie type gang. Don’t get why she doesn’t just sob then in though. If it’s them, she could just say she caught sight of someone who was there a few days before. Doesn’t really make sense.
Mia has turned hasn’t she! Always been a bit of a PITA but she has become such a little cow.
Very true. Especially as she had suspicions that it was targetted.Would Jolene really have stayed in the pub alone at night after the incident with Kenton & the vicious dog?
Surely someone would be there with her.
Well according to Facebook she is harbouring “van man” upstairs at The Bull, good thing Kenton couldn’t get up the stairs then . Facebook always cheers me up on a miserable Wednesday morning in FebruaryVery true. Especially as she had suspicions that it was targetted.
Thing that's annoying me with the Hilda storyline - as a cat lover - is that Hilda sounds like a completely normal, if a slightly grumpy and particular, regular cat! Cats often take a liking to one person over another. They are basically tiny furry toddlers who will do anything to get a treat and have absolutely no boundaries or rules. As for having an entire bloody episode about trying to find her when she'd gone missing only to find her curled up under the table, that is a normal cat thing to do. They love to please themselves and have no time for human indignation. It’s such an unrealistic storyline, I’m really struggling to get onboard with it. Same with Hilda the demon cat that no one would take on and I can’t believe that even someone as hideous as Peggy would force her on someone else!
I agree with pro dog bias except for poor old Stella’s dog’s fate. Not v pro dog.Thing that's annoying me with the Hilda storyline - as a cat lover - is that Hilda sounds like a completely normal, if a slightly grumpy and particular, regular cat! It's all very pro-dog isn't it
