The Archers

Ungrateful bloody Grundys again.
They live on Oliver's farm at a peppercorn rent. And really were only there so Joe could see out his final days.
Hope Oliver chucks them all out tbh.
Agree but does anyone else think that all the writers are landlords hiking up their rents and feeling al put out when their tenants get the shits?
The grundies reaction is very annoying but also out of character. They haven’t been back in the place for that long really and they were reluctant to go back there and ‘ever so grateful’ .

Alan Alan run for your life before you end up in the wicker-man that Peggy and Joy are building in the Grundys barn Joy is not the goodie goodie she appears to be. This has all been predicted back in June by Charlotte Higgins of The Guardian “it’s only a small step from ‘beating the bounds’ to full-on Wicker Man – and Clarrie and Susan certainly have the skills required”. you’ll know I’m right when The Bull gets a name change to The Green Man.

I know.
Clunk clunk. You could see the cogs in motion.
And is Rob really ill? I still can't quite 100% believe it.
You’re miss me when I’ve gone !
No I mean we’ll miss Rob when he’s singing with the quire invisible and
The Joy of sensibility is left to push Helen’s buttons.
There’s a special soup bubbling away in Joys jacuzzi funny her Mick hasn’t been seen for a while .

Presumably to introduce a new love interest for Alice, but it was all a bit Barbara Cartland.
Some hope,It’s been 24 years living next door to Alice and she didn’t even spit at me.

So do we reckon as Helen's fingerprints are on the pillow Rob will put it over his own face to get the ultimate win?

I don't think there'll be that murder by pillow drama - I'll switch off if that happens. It was a thankful reminder of what a nasty piece of work Rob is - just because someone is dying or dead doesn't elevate them to sainthood.
Still not a fan of Joy, her voice and character grates me.

Funnily enough I can't sleep so have just listened to it. Bleak stuff.
Will Helen get the blame for polishing him off?
The fishfinger butty is symbolic of the end of her relationship with Rob and also her eating disorder I presume.
Rob's father shaking his hand and telling him to die with dignity then just leaving him is chilling.

I didn’t like Joy at first but she really grew on me. She was great that time with Ben

that was horrible.

Ed was heard singing all the way home from the pub. He was right it is the same old story . All them sheep its a metaphor for something I'm still working on it …….
It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?
And as for Helen all she needs to do now is to start a war first she could alway take in a lodger and head for Paris on holiday.
