Tasha & Kai for me. He's due someone young and talented after two older women in a row, and is experienced enough as a teacher to handle her disability. Would be a make or break partnership though - would need to ditch the "old man" vibes if he's given her as a partner.

Glad Pete is in because this thread will be a hoot. Jowita/Karen/Nancy would be the direction I'd go in for his partner, would have also said Katya but the tabloids would have a field day there. Think he'd find Dianne a bit much, and Amy is too straight-laced for him, can you really imagine her with the flirty TOWIE guy?

I also think Kai with Tasha. We saw his younger, dare I say, Sexier side with AJ, so we know it’s in there, plus he’ll want to let loose a bit now he’s single again.

Kai is pretty good at contemporary, I wouldn’t write him off. Aljaz though…we won’t mention that bizarre cc of Sara’s!

Knowing how skilled Pete is at seduction, then Joe would be toast. Basically anyone he’s paired with will get full press Strictly Curse coverage. I see him and Maura are denying a relationship in the comments on the announcement post.

If Johannes has a partner this year I think it’s time for him to have someone tit. He’s been on a good run ever since 2021 and although it’s about the celeb and not the pro I would much rather see Kai with a contender.

I think on paper they might have expected Anabelle to be his duffer but the partnership and her story really had people rooting for them. She was naturally quite graceful but not a great dancer.

I agree but she still ended up being decent and getting to the semi final. I’m also not sure giving him a contender when he is potentially going to be starting rehearsals for Kinky Boots would be fair to them.
