He apparently was offered a new contract but quit the show when Amanda put forward an official complaint. At least that was his pr seem to have fed to the media, I don’t really buy him stepping down.

Now Amanda has done this tv interview and her parents have spoken to the press, maybe Gio should do an interview with Krishnan to give balance.

Yes, tv interviews can be edited to put a spin on things either way, and printed articles can be spun,
but at least when the public see the interviewee reacting on screen, they can note their body language and make up their own mind about the person.

The swift way Graziano was dealt with really makes the Amanda/Giovanni case seem dragged out for a really long time.

i get what you mean, but i disagree with this because it really turns into trial by media. if amanda is emotional and teary, and giovanni by contrast is smooth and coached, then the public are “making up their own mind” based on no evidence other than what the person is like on camera. there’s also the added detail, as has been thrown around numerous times, that amanda is an actress. anything she does on camera is immediately doubted by a lot of people for that reason.

I'm just wondering if people dipping into this thread might think that the EastEnders actor who is also a dancer and west end performer the actual John Partridge might be being investigated for something sinister 😬

It already is a trial by media ( and social media.)

Both are professional performers.
Both play a role for their job.

So, for me, they are equal in that respect.
I try to be fair, and I just think it would be fair to see him interviewed by Krishnan, too.

Also, if we are talking about having advantages, we could say Amanda was given an advantage by having an interview shown on telly where the other party wasnt given the right of reply.

I'm not a psychologist but I like to think I could get the measure of a person by watching them being interviewed.

Absolutely this. Any complaints should have been investigated immediately, and appropriate action taken.
It looks like the rot set in some years ago, and nothing was done.

Also there should have been proper measures in place to ensure a safe work environment for all. Instead they seem to have hoped that if they ignored it or paid lip service, any issues would go away.

I commend Amanda for lifting the lid, there certainly was a huge can of worms uncovered by her doing so. It's so wrong that she has had to endure such an enormous backlash, and nothing will be done about it.
 
Didn't Graziano say something to the effect of when the times right he'll give his version of events

Let's be clear there's a mentality amongst some of these strictly pros that if money can be made off the back off of something then they're in and all I could I think is Graz wants a book deal or at the very least an OK exclusive.

Giovanni is biding his time, the price will have to be right he thinks he's a big ticket and his people will want him to get as much out of this as possible there will a be new fragrance called victory and the book - his story, his truth 🤢

I'm not saying the pros shill the life out of their time on SCD but ...... yeah💰
 
Saw this on DS. So Kai is doing a solo tour (sponsored by Gio's company)?! Is there a market for that, when Nadiay and Kai struggled and there are even more tours next year?

She mentions it on the second slide. Says she forgave him at the time, and he's not racist.

Glad she's said this and nipped at least this one in the bud. Glad too that she emphasises how important it is to listen to others' experiences and says that she has heard 'incredibly concerning' stories from others personally - not clear if that is from Amanda and Laura etc or others.
