If this article is true - the celebs shouldn’t have to have psychological test weekly - pros and those behind the scenes need to stop acting like aholes and create a safe environment. Feels like they are putting the blame on the celebs rather than having to tackle the toxic culture that there appears to be.

"Psychological tests" makes it sound much more extreme than it is - it'll just be checking in with a qualified professional for a chat to make sure they're coping okay and offering support if needed. It should have been done right from the start, really. I only hope the pros will be getting the same check-ins.
 
All the things they are putting in place is good but it won’t work unless they create an environment where people feel they can be honest and speak out. Perhaps behind closed doors they are now tackling the reasons that things have got to the point they have got to.

He should consider himself lucky to have only had one partner (out of nine) have an average score under 30. The guy was way overindulged by the show and I think it’s part of the reason why he turned out as bad as he did.
 
I do wonder if Gio was already in a 'mood' as he obviously didn't get on with Richie and wished he had got his same sexed couple with Layton so with the bad press Amanda got as soon as she was announced she got even more of his 'harsh' training and foul behaviour?
With Amanda being a strong person she wasn't going to put up with it and after speaking to others realised he was getting worse each year and didn't want anyone else to deal with it.
The things in the media now are what was speculated on and written about while the show was on and whoever should have been on top of all this, so far, seems to be not being held accountable.

"This included being open with Giovanni about her own shortcomings as a dancer and her awareness that this must have been difficult for him."For these comments to now be presented as some form of an excuse for the bullying that Amanda experienced is as unacceptable as the behaviour itself, behaviour that Amanda is not alone in having experienced.'

But the idea that he was secretly recording her will of course fuel his fans' theories that he is the victim.

So Amanda raises concerns with the BBC and their rehearsals are subsequently recorded, but concurrently Gio is secretly making his own private recordings of Amanda, which he has held on to since September/October 2023, and has just revealed the existence of one such recording now.

This is odd. Very odd.

The whole thing is just bizarre.
According to the DM, the BBC will have to come a conclusion by tomorrow. If that’s the case then there will probably be some bland statement in the next few days from the BBC saying they take all complaints seriously and lessons have been learned, they will implement new policies and something about wellbeing being vital etc.

Yeah, why did this bombshell only come to light now? and why would he record her if they were already being recorded? unless it wasn't a training session and he recorded a private chat or even a phone call, which is plausible?
