Reflecting some more on today's developments, I think it's a major red flag that the training footage hasn't been released to Amanda's lawyers. I don't particularly want or need to see it and I certainly wouldn't relish it being used by the tabloid press to continue to wage their anti-BBC/'Strictly in Chaos' agenda.

But AA absolutely should be able to access it. If it shows Gio has been unfairly accused then I'm pretty sure he would be happy to release or even share it - why wouldn't he?

Give Gio an interview with Andrew Neil and let him really squirm...

Would have said Paxman if he hadn't retired.
Maitlis! Though he'd try to shag her.

Krishnan is really a mensch and as said above, the fact he lent his reputation as a journalist to her speaks volumes about him and his friendship with Amanda. I thought he handled the interview really well.
He just posted this.

I don't think it should be in the public domain but I think it's insane that it hasn't been released to Amanda's lawyers.

I know it's been said already but no wonder Zara was too afraid to say anything. Poor Amanda.

I'm a 34 year old woman and I had a crush on Krishnan last year during Strictly, he just came across so lovely, he was the best part of every show he was in and he was, for me, the definition of what the show was about!! Not stripper poles, unnecessary jumps and near death dance moves, just joy at dancing 🩷🩷 I am crushing even harder now 😅

If only Shirley could have reserved some of that positive energy for Nigel, Ellie Taylor, Fleur, Maisie etc.
The way Shirley treated Nigel last year still makes me deeply, deeply angry.

Why would Gio be able to call the shots on who views the footage? Is this official bbc footage or something on someone’s phone do we know (?)
Yep all linked to GDPR. Amanda’s team requested the footage via a subject access request but as the footage doesn’t just relate to her and contains other people (Gio), therefore, Gio’s permission is needed to show the footage that contains him. As he hasn’t given it, the only way the BBC could release it is by redacting the footage that he is in. Which would pointless. I believe they can go to the Information Commissioner’s Office and contest but I’m not sure it would be upheld.

Maybe they’ll do a Rebecka Vardy and suspiciously lose the evidence over the side of a boat?
