Exactly what I was thinking. I think that says a lot, really, the fact that Krishnan did the interview.

I just watched a short clip earlier, but will watch in full later. It's beyond appalling that someone can be subjected to rape and death threats, without repercussions for those who are guilty of sending those threats. 😡

Or maybe Gio could just try to not be a bleep. It sounds like there is a long line of people who have experienced bad treatment from him not just Amanda. Let’s not blame the victims because we don’t like them or because they are not saying what we want to hear. Amanda has kept silent for months. Do you think Gio should shut his mouth when he refers to the crazy woman when he’s on stage?
 
Just watched the interview with my mum who was a HUGE strictly fan. I remember watching the first ever season with her back in… 2004, was it? I was 11 and at a dance school and it all seemed so brilliant, light hearted and entertaining!
Now, not only is my Mum a huge Strictly fan in general, she is a die hard Giovanni fan. Often she will just start re watching the famous ‘Rose and Giovanni’ season over and over. She’s been to see him a few times on stage and dare I say it, she even has one of the official Giovanni merchandise hoodies - ‘made in Italy’ (poor woman is about as Italian as the Tesco carbonara ready meal in the fridge, but there we are!) Anyway, my point is, she watched it and came away saying how much her opinion has changed of him. She fully supports Amanda and I’m glad, because truly, I genuinely think that her experiences have caused her trauma and she deserves the validation. Discrediting her must in itself have caused her so much anxiety.
 
I don’t know if this is relevant but I always thought when I saw her husband in the audience he always looked unhappy? Amanda and gio, I thought had good chemistry and I was looking forward to seeing them go further. Whatever has happened, the online threats are out of order

Well so far keeping quiet has gotten her no where except threats against her and her children all while Giovanni gets nothing but sympathy. Why should she continue to stay quiet?
