They've got Edwina Curry on GMB. What an imbecile she is. Saying "influencers" don't understand how much hard work strictly is and that she doesn't think they should have chaperones because however would they flirt then šŸ™„
A phrase to chill the heart šŸ˜³
I think she actually meant that, a well known sports writer and journalist said that when he interviewed her she totally came onto him šŸ˜³

Fi Glover is a respected journalist used to work at the BBC (for a long time) said that contestants have watertight contracts which makes it hard to speak out if they are uncomfortable. They have to describe SCD in a positive way. It makes what Amanda did all the more admirable.

Iā€™ve suspected for a long time that the contestants are effectively ā€˜gaggedā€™. You get an occasional expression of dissent, such as Sophie Ellis Bexter saying it was like a cult, put a strain on her marriage, and she had to push back against being made to say it was the best thing sheā€™d ever done in her life. But even then it was a long time after her stint on the show that she spoke up, and she was accused of using Strictly to garner publicity, her husband was a jealous control freak, etc.

I guess the dam is bust now, and there may be an ensuing tsunami of revelations.

Edwina had an affair with John Major. If she can literally see a sexual opportunity in the greyest man who ever lived, flirting and sex must be top of the agenda for her. I think male attention is very important to her. I can remember when she was in the jungle and it was nauseating to see her flirting with Jake Quickendon - who was lapping it up. Not because he was attracted to her but because of the outrageously flattering things she was saying to him. His ego was taking it as all being true, not realising she was trying to pull him.

This really makes me wonder about the whole Vick Hope situation now, especially because she works for the BBC. She cited communication issues which people lambasted her for being that she has a languages degree from Cambridge. In hindsight I'm not sure she was talking about his lack of English but his attitude.
He was then benched for two years and then given Judi Love and the Grazziano the happy bouncy puppy was born.

Jamelia and Tristan were very open with their comments. Very refreshing, I thought.

Iā€™ve been thinking much the same - she was similar to Zara in that she was a young woman in the early stages of a BBC career and therefore constrained to a degree in terms of how a complaint might affect her in career terms, and thatā€™s even before we consider any contractual gagging orders.

Vick Hope certainly didnā€™t look like she was having a great time while she was on the show šŸ˜

Iā€™ve also recently been rethinking that thing where Graz & Gio were seen ā€˜having wordsā€™ just after Hamza & Jowita were announced as winners.

There have been suggestions that Graz was remonstrating with Gio for not rushing to congratulate Jowita (as they were ā€˜involvedā€™ at the time), but given what we know about G&G now itā€™s all a little bit more ā€˜interestingā€™ šŸ¤”

I do think that was what happened there, though. It seems quite clear that Graz was pointing to Jowita and they thought it was weird Gio hadn't gone over to her.
What is slightly odd is that Graz and Gio seemed quite friendly in last year's series - I remember there were a few insta videos of them hanging out backstage etc. And Gio commented on Graz's tour posts etc, which he obviously doesn't bother doing for anyone else except Gorka. Then that seemed to fizzle out, and Graz and Vito became friends on the pro tour, when they hadn't been that close earlier. Just generally weird dynamics.

Oooh please refresh my memory.
I just remember her calling them out for saying her natural hair wasnt "elegant" one week and Tristan giving fewer and fewer shits as they ended up in dance off after dance off.
Didn't he get so blase and relaxed on ITT that he slid off the sofa in a doze while Jamelia was giving all the secrets away about dances being re recorded to rig standing ovations?

Those two were fun.

Ooh the Greatest Love of All is over: Dan Walker currently spotted breaking the world land-speed record en route from Sheffield to London!

Definitely side-eying this quote: "But the pressures of touring - being in each otherā€™s space 24/7, and the stress of performing a sell-out show eventually took its toll"

lol.

Love, loathe or indifferent to her, you can always rely on Jamelia to speak her mind šŸ˜‚

The cows are devastated by this new development.

Eek, well at least they finished their tour first. Didn't Kevin and Karen have to do a tour after they split? That's one less tour to add to the oversaturated market next year anyway.

Dear Tatlers,

If someone could pass my number on to her that would be much appreciated. Alternatively if you're a Strictly producer and looking for a Tatler for the show this year, I am available for a minimal fee.

Kind regards
