I wondered why he was allowed on the tour if tptb knew about him. He should have been sacked and not given more exposure, pretending he was someone else, fooling everyone when he was an abuser.
The tour is pretty much Craig's baby afaik. So it's not under the auspices of the BBC, as such. Craig said he knew nothing and I guess if as has been said, Graziano received warnings, they would be private to him

TPTB obviously thought that was the end of it, when they warned him. It's shocking stuff really. All of it.

Zara seems to like portraying herself as a victim. I haven't watched her in anything else but Strictly. However, I read that she has made 3 documentaries and in all of them she seemed to be portraying herself as a potential victim.

Oh do fuck off

1) she didn’t make the complaint despite the fact she had every fucking right to, she said NOTHING, how exactly can someone
make themselves a victim in that scenario?
2) he repeatedly hit, kicked and spat at her and shouted at her so aggressively she had to
lock herself in the toilets and was consistently seen crying, she still said NOTHING

She isn’t making herself a victim she IS a victim

I feel with all of this, that people are finally coming out and saying how they were treated on the show and its being taken seriously this time. I feel perhaps in previous years it wasn't being taken seriously and kept hushed. Agents of the celebs could have told them to stay quiet so they could get further work etc. So many reasons why celebs could have stayed quiet. Only when the dust settles and you look back they might be able to think no this was not ok, I'm saying something. I do believe a horrible toxic competitive environment has been creative by the pros for strictly clearly enabled by the BBC turning a blind eye for many year.

But Gio didn't mind at all the year that it was 'rigged' for him to win with Rose. Not saying that Rose's win was rigged but if that's how he sees it it implies, to me, that he believes it was rigged for him to win every year he got a contender but not with Richie and he clearly thought not with Amanda.
Did he really think the whole of Strictly revolved around him, every year?
Yes, I’m pretty sure that he did.

The person you are responding to also thinks racism is a "faux pas" so yeh...🙄 Can't reason with stupid.

Tbf though Amanda is an accuser not a proven victim like Zara.

Just because a middle aged woman makes a claim and it’s about someone who does not come across that well does not mean she’s right.

I see them BOTH as problematic characters and it’s possible it was more of a clash. I could be wrong.
I’d be more inclined to believe this if it weren’t for Laura and Ranvir. Ranvir in particular has always struck me as a serious person who doesn’t look for publicity. Clearly something went down between her and FR.

[Beryl] But who knows, maybe three menopausal women decided to tell him down for the lols [/Beryl]

I’ve only seen one of her documentaries, the one she did about revenge porn. The reason you may think she had been portraying herself as a victim is because she was a victim of revenge porn twice, both at the age of 14 and 22. When she was in Love Island, an ex boyfriend of hers leaked explicit photos of her. As someone who has been in that situation, it is incredibly scary. I thought the documentary was brilliant at raising awareness, and helping others in that situation reach out for help and not feel ashamed. The documentary actually impacted changing the law around revenge porn, and she helped multiple victims families get justice. People (myself included) have their opinions about Love Islanders but I can say having seen that documentary I gained a lot of respect and admiration for her.

That’s a good point re Ranvir (and Laura).

And potentially Richie too. I’m sure Amanda can be a nightmare and she isn’t someone I’d want to hang out with but I don’t doubt for one second that Gio has behaved inappropriately. Even us viewers (who aren’t his fans) could see his obnoxious attitude. I think most of his partners could raise concerns about his behaviour 🤷🏼‍♀️

A real good guy 🩷🩷
For all the shit that’s being reported now I think we should remember that some authentic relationships seemed to have developed between pros and their celebrity partners in the last series. There are still some genuinely good folks in the show.

Angela Rippon and Kai probably don’t hang out all the time but he accompanied her to the opening of parliament this week.

Annabel and Johannes caught up at Wimbledon.

Vito still loves his Lulu (and everyone else) and visited her in Manchester a few weeks ago.

Krishnan remains Lauren’s number 1 fan. Remember his lovely heartfelt words about her when he was voted out.

Layton and Nikita are soulmates have remained close and have just done a few shows together. At their final show apparently they were both very emotional from the AT onwards. I think this slowed down video shows how intense it was and Nikita was crying from the start 😢
