I’ve also recently been rethinking that thing where Graz & Gio were seen ‘having words’ just after Hamza & Jowita were announced as winners.

There have been suggestions that Graz was remonstrating with Gio for not rushing to congratulate Jowita (as they were ‘involved’ at the time), but given what we know about G&G now it’s all a little bit more ‘interesting’ 🤔

I always thought Vick was physically uncomfortable around him, going by her body language. At the time I wondered if it was the dynamic of him being billed as the hot new italian and expected to be flirty whilst Vick is not the huggy gushy type and I could see her being firm on those boundaries.
If something does come out about that partnership and the BBC covered it up leading to the abuse of Zara I could well see the show being finished.
I suspect we will get the 20th year anniversary series as a swan song.

She’s obviously not been happy for a long time and it seemed like the only times they’ve appeared as a ‘couple’ has been work related. He couldn’t leave the country fast enough the minute the tour finished this time. The last few days he’s been spending with Theo , and briefly Ange. Nadiya spent the entire weekend with Dan, including a ball in Chester. The other sign was that he actually liked an AJ post - this never happens! He’s ghosted her for 2 years. Perhaps they can actually be friends again now.
All a bit awkward, as they have a Donahays job this weekend, but presumably they have kept it civil.
Awaiting him to be lined up with a hottie this season then…..

I got the impression they were off/on a lot and not as serious as they made out but liked to give the impression of being loved up for the sake of optics and selling shows. At least with Aljaz back Nadiya will have a tall ballroom dancer to lead with now, although Kai is beautiful in ballroom too

Yes, she’s always danced beautifully with Aljaz. She’ll be sad Graz has gone though, as he was another good partner.
Hoping this means lots of Kai with Luba and Lauren , he’s so good with them.

Everyone in the industry will know someone who has been on it and be aware of the reality behind the scenes.

A friend of a friend was a contestant a few years ago: they were ‘persuaded’ to do it as a bbc employee, very much did not enjoy their time on the show, and were clear that if any of their colleagues were offered the gig and asked their advice, they’d be reluctant to recommend it. And that was them being somewhat diplomatic.

Remember when she did that tour with Anastasia and somebody else, Chaka Khan was it? Here Come The Girls it was called.

Anyway, LuLu grew a pony tail and was everywhere on tv promoting the tour.
She was shriek-laughing and over exaggeratedly moving her head all the time to make the pony tail swish about just to make sure everyone noticed it.

Didnt see this coming! I saw them in Aberdeen and they appeared to be happy and with one another but it could have been all an act for the show!
 
I wonder if this will be Nadiya’s last year on the show. I feel like her & Kai would be professional enough but working alongside your ex isn’t easy, plus she seems to always be on the cusp of being benched. I can see them benching her again this year. At some point, I imagine you’d have enough of that.
