Not caught up properly yet, still on page 18...but I've been thinking was this why she was SO MUCH on insta about him? Calling him her best friend and everything how perfect it all was...maybe she believed if she was super nice to him, he'd stop? Or maybe she felt she had to portray this perfect partnership as this was a big thing for her, career-wise. Maybe she didn't realise what was happening was *that* bad, or she wrote it off as him being all fiery and Italian 😠

I feel really bad for her. I'm hardly a fan but I remember her saying she loved strictly since she was a kid 😥

Ehhh. I dunno. They all make ridiculous statements about their partners being the best person they know (while married) & being a best friend for life. I don’t think her gushing was particularly unusual!

Well at least there's some good news lmao! Nah, not really, it'll only embolden his loony supporters to retaliate in some way. tbh I was really shocked he wasn't shot when he was first elected in 2016.

I don't think I'd believe Strictly if they did put out a statement like that. If members of the production team knew about it, I'm pretty sure the other pros did too. I don't think the 2024 series should go ahead.
Yeah, I wouldn't believe it either and tbh I don't care if it does or doesn't. I know I won't really be able to enjoy it, wondering who the next pro to have assaulted their celeb is. Or vice versa. Lots of awful celebs making female pros feel unsafe on the US version, but DWTS doesn't pretend not to be sleazy and trashy so it doesn't ruin it as much.

Yeah, but they stayed in contact long after they were eliminated/the show ended. They did seem like they were actually going to be friends for life. I thought it was a bit exaggerated, but it didn't strike me as totally fake. Clearly not.

The gushing seems like a contractual requirement along with talking about their "journey". Like workers at Disney World, everyone's got to look happy.
Yeah and it’s the same when their partners get revealed it’s always “you were the one I wanted” for once I’d love someone to be honest and say “ I’m doing this because I’m skint and don’t want to eat kangaroo arse”
“They were the last person I wanted as a partner I’m gutted”
And when finally they get voted out
“To be honest Tess, I’m really not arsed. I’m knackered, I’m sick of smelling like biscuits, and I’ve seen wardrobe for next week and quite frankly I’m over the moon I don’t have to wear that monstrosity. Get me a pint I’m off”

But then he apparently did it while cameras were present and rolling? Which doesn't seem to make a lick of sense.
True. Maybe he forgot about the cameras. Look at Roxanne Pallett she swore blind Ryan Thomas practically beat her up when he never touched her in CBB.

I get what you mean, but I'm guessing he didn't realise just how wrong it was until he was confronted with video evidence & other people's reactions to it. Like I said, I hope he goes away, reflects and apologises to Zara. That wouldn't excuse what he's said to have done, but hopefully it would ensure he never behaves that way again with any other dance partner (wherever his career goes from here).

He would have to be thick as pig tit to not realise kicking a woman especially as a man wasn't the wrong thing to do until he saw video footage.

His career will hopefully be over. At the very least he's done over here.

I'd love that too. 😁

Do we take these media stories as completely true? I’m not usually one for remotely believing The Sun or DM. Obviously, he’s been sacked so he’s done something the BBC felt was misconduct. But how true is the spitting, hitting & kicking I wonder .. I guess the allegations haven’t come out of nowhere.. but it’s still the scum of the earth newspapers..

Poor Zara, she went into strictly as a complete novice dancer and progressed every week. It's hard to read what she was having to injure just to be on a tv show. I get the professionals want to win but to abuse your partner to push them into being a "better" dancer? WTAF!!! This situation makes the Amanda/Gio complaint small allegedly!!

I'm sure there was something reported with Graz's first strictly partner Vick Hope too?

BBC/Strictly have thrown an open wallet at Aljaz to get him back, I wouldn't be surprised if he was partnered with a cracking celeb too.

Nice reaction to a 78 year old man getting shot. duck off.
Obviously, it's not nice to see anyone get shot, regardless of age, and this isn't really the place for it but let's not act like Donald Trump hasn't contributed to a lot of the divisiveness there currently is in the US.

I'd imagine there's some truth to them because I'd assume Graz could take legal action if they're not true. Also, one of the articles does say there's footage of one of the incidents.

If it isn’t I would think Graz’s legal team would be denying these allegations asap. Then he could sue the papers for defamation of character, surely?

It does make me suspect that all of the pros are like this tbh. Nancy and her no coffee breaks for Rhys. Adam seemed borderline terrified of Katya. I did not get good vibes from Nikita with Ferngate - sorry I just wanted to win too much being the excuse there too. Vito encouraging Ellie to dive headfirst at the floor etc etc

I think it's an industry-wide problem where no one sees it as abusive because it's how they were all taught. Well, I hope so at least, rather than Graz just being a psycho abuser and everyone being cool with it. But then it'd be sad he wound up the scapegoat when they all do similar things. Ugh, there's no good outcome. I hate all of this. And I feel so bad for Zara - nothing indicates she's done anything wrong here and so many people are being crappy to her.
