Well this was unpleasant to wake up to. I'd been hoping this would be his year for a ringer, and then this happens!

You know it’s kinda dumb but I’ve had an awful feeling about Graz in the back of my mind ever since Ned Fulmer got sacked from The Try Guys. He was my favourite Try Guy and I fell for his ‘I’m obsessed with my wife’ shtick hook line and sinker, and ever since then I’ve been suspicious of men who overstate how much they adore their wives. The niggling thought popped into my mind again a few weeks ago in Dianne’s vlog when she and Vito were going on about how he facetimes her all the time and calls her ‘my life’ etc I was like ‘seems too good to be true. witch, you’d better not bleeping dare Ned me’ and welp. Looks like I hate all men now. 😭

Wait, I've just read more of the thread and I'm so confused. I was assuming it was something related to cheating but then again, why would cheating be a fireable offense? And what the duck does he mean by determination to win affecting his training?! But they stayed friends after? She went to his dance classes and his show, they made some insta/tiktok vids together, he and Giada visited her and Sam at their house at least once or after the show? I’m so shocked and confused.

My best guess is it's something that might not have been considered a big deal at any other time, but they're really cracking down now because of the Gio thing and want to be seen to be cleaning up messes?

I'm just so sad.

Ah had forgotten about that. At one stage the gf popped up with an account on Digital Spy, fun times!
Re female pros, it was never fully explained what went on with Amy and Danny-John Jules🤔
and re Graz, if it’s true that it’s the producers that have raised concerns, why was he allowed to partner Annabel on the tour,take part in the pro tour and why is all this stuff coming out now so far down the line that he had been signed for the new series? So strange.

Didn’t Jamie end up on crutches because of something to do with wearing booster type things in his shoes to make himself taller.

I’m imagining the stuff about Graz came out post live tour, given that it took the producers so long to actually look into the Gio accusations

I think he pushed her too hard and maybe made a few inappropriate jokes? there were comments from him about her being like a PC that was trying to boot up, and a few other things that seemed in good humour but maybe there was more?

Graz and Giada were at the wedding last week of her last Ballando partner. He married Simona Ventura who is a huge TV host on Rai. Milly Carlucci the Ballando host/big cheese was also there. Wonder if he'll get hired on Ballando - he might be able to handwave this away with an 'uptight Brits' explanation..

Because presumably no concerns had been raised at the time of the tours or at the point when they announced the pros for the new series 🤷‍♀️

Two more thoughts: One - I vaguely remember a Mail article that said something about him making Zara wear some shoes that made her feet bleed and wasn't really listening to her complaints and wouldn't let her take them off. Which I don't really like. But surely that sort of thing is part and parcel for the show? Vito was mocking Ellie for wasting time putting band-aids on her blisters as well, so surely it can't just be that or Vito would be sacked too?

Two - I remember raising a bit of an eyebrow at an insta story Zara posted sometime after the show of her, Graz and Giada watching Saltburn together, and her filming and joking about their reaction to the grave-bleeping scene. I remember thinking 'yikes, seems a little workplace misconduct-y if it had taken place while they were still in.' Perhaps it was an inappropriate joke/s that Zara didn't mind, but the HR bosses did?
 
Have to admit when I first saw the Graz headline, given Zara’s latest thing about online trolling etc and Sam and Pete setting up the press with what looked like an argument between them, I thought perhaps it was set up, on how the press make up sh!t from unreliable sources. Then Graz did his post and I realised this wasn’t the case.

Were Graz and Giada being inappropriate about Saltburn? how weird. I think what makes it odd is all the TikToks they did together, in some of which she was pranking him etc. Hard to tell who was in on the joke and when.
 
Gross misconduct is a bit vague isnt it?

I had a quick look at what can be regarded as gross misconduct in the workplace and this lot came up............

Physical violence, Bullying, Discrimination or harassment
Damage to property or premises
Theft or fraud
A breach of health and safety
A breach of confidence
Inflicting damage or injury through negligence
Taking drugs or drinking alcohol at work, or else working whilst under the influence


What on earth has he done????
 
I’m leaning towards that there was a personal issue, Strictly is intense, Graz lost his sh!t. Zara maybe aware of whatever was going on and just took it. Others perhaps viewed it as completely inappropriate and that you shouldn’t bring personal issues into the work place. Perhaps because Strictly now need to look into further, no choice but for him to go.
 
As someone said earlier, maybe the English not being the first language has some bearing here as well.
Maybe the pro gets frustrated trying to find the right words/make themselves understood and tempers/nerves get fraught.


Didnt Vick Hope cite the 'language barrier' as one of her issues with Graziano?

It's hard to tell from about a 10 second long clip, but it didn't look that way? But I did think it seemed like the sort of thing that could be considered harassment/inappropriate between colleagues if someone complained. From her side though, not his. The caption was something like 'forcing them to watch Saltburn just to see their reaction to this scene.' Graz didn't do anything weird, just said something like 'no, please don't do that' to the screen. But if that's the sort of jokes/pranks they were comfortable with around each other, maybe there's something similar instigated by him on the training footage HR didn't like? I wonder if it's one big thing or multiple smaller things?
