I like Layton and think he is a good dancer but his CC didn’t wow me. I could totally see what Craig meant, L&N weren’t in sync at times. I also found the costuming weird - the stompy boots and bin bag trousers? Styling, choreography and song didn’t really go with the VT either.
Really liked Angela S and Carlos, and she is normally a ‘take it or leave it’ for me.

I agreed with Craig as well, thought it was out of sync a few times before he said it. I thought he should have got 40 last week but don’t think this was as good as the other judges made out, idk just didn’t have that X factor if you will. But after someone else has pointed out that Nikita got 40 with Tilly (I’d forgotten this and feel angry again at being reminded of it), he must wonder why a small amount out of sync makes Craig so picky.

It’s what i quite like about Craig that he doesn’t just hand out 10s, to me a 10 isn’t just being technically perfect but it has to have something else about it that makes it a memorable or makes you think or feel something. It’s like Ashley Roberts got about 4/5 40s but I can’t remember a single dance because I found her quite boring and too clinical.

Ellie and Layton are my favourites but I hope Ellie wins. I feel like it would be refreshing because I can't remember the last time a young woman without a sob story or 'journey' narrative won it- certainly not in the 7 years I've been watching it

I think she may be a wannabe one. She’s posted twice as many tiktoks in the last couple of months, mainly featuring Nikita, than she has in the last 3 years. She definitely wants the world to know who she is dating. She is young though and I guess that’s what the youth of today do 👵🏻

He definitely didn’t storm off. Think he was really deflated. They obviously get on brilliantly, always laughing and chatting together. They were really happy at the end of the dance and the judges certainly brought him down with in my view an unnecessarily hard bump. He’s really popular with other pros and celebs, goofing about off camera. He ran off to hug someone in his friends and family area. Not sure who it was. Brother maybe?

Nikita thrusting his crotch a few feet away from me during the Harry Styles medley was a moment. Mesmerising when you see him live. Vito not so hot as I thought. Aimee Fuller trying to gatecrash the blokes loos when there was a queue for the ladies. Fleur and her husband walking casually around looking incredible. She always had a coat or leg in front of her tummy so couldn’t investigate bump!
Nigel really didn’t deserve that criticism compared to others. Didn’t need all 4 of them repeating the negative when there was so much to admire about it. Katya is stunning up close. Claudia is so nervous before she goes on. Was pretending to vomit just before she went live. Hysterical off camera too. Tess comes across so warm and not robotic. Weird

I imagine it's quite different in person - I remember someone saying last year that Fleur's CC at Blackpool - which got an ahem, polarised reaction online - blew the roof off on the night. I guess TV can't convey the live experience.

I imagine Dianne is mentally on Erin Island, between Bobby and her dad.

I will politely ignore your comment about Vito. 🤫

She’s a model. Which frankly she should be. Her & Nikita are the kinda couple that should and do to some extent make my bisexuality very happy 😂 but she’s just a bit too pouty & influencery for me. Knows she’s beautiful, knows she’s dating a semi-celeb. BUT also, go wild love. If I was 21/22 and looked like her and bagged someone famous, I’d love myself too - I’d be like look.at.me. 😂 may as well fully enjoy life!

Angela S - The last few weeks I’ve felt as if she has upped her game but it was only last night I felt she had an emotional connection with the dance. I think out of the top contenders she is the weakest but I wouldn’t be unhappy for her to make the final. Carlos is a gem and next year I would like to see him get a partner who compliments him and allows him to showcase his talents the way Layton has with Nikita.

Nigel - Every week I think this is going to be the week when he wows everyone and every week it falls flat. Currently for me he would be in 4th place behind Angela S which I didn’t think I would say before. I think his best dances were his Paso and Salsa but not sure which of his leftover dances can go with the sexy vibe they had. I also think his confidence and self-esteem are low so it would be a Herculean task for him to pull it out of the bag now. I know he is popular though so will make the final and has a real chance of winning.

I think Angela S hides herself behind humour and so we don't get to see the real her, very much. Like Nigel, she has come in for some fairly tough criticism some weeks.

Carlos crying last night was just the most beautiful, natural reaction and so sweet. I like them together. I think last year he was in protective mode with Molly as they fought their way through, whereas with Angela he can let his more lighthearted side show. Loved what they did last night and I hope that they get to do more of the same.

Believe me I was ready to full on appreciate that man in all his glory! Maybe it was the sugary pink saccharine Charleston which dampened the flames!

Layton looked nervous beforehand. They are a match made in heaven. Obviously get on brilliantly. Think Nikita is loving exploring what they can do. Very tactile, they do a sweet breathing exercise together before they start. Always laughing and chatting. And Layton is everyone’s biggest cheerleader. Nikita is the one who gees up the pros at the beginning of their dances. I couldn’t give a flying fig about his previous experience. Layton is incredible to watch. Stood out in the group dance too. And such a good looking bloke. Love them

So happy to hear that Layton & Nikita are as amazing in real life as they are on screen, not that i’m surprised ❤

Thank you. I hate how people think Layton is arrogant when all I can see is someone who is humble, hard working and supportive of others whilst being his authentic self. I am super jealous that you have seen them dance in person and impressed that you didn’t try to run onto the floor to lick Nikita.

I thought how she dealt with Carlos' tears was so lovely and genuine. I've flip flopped about her, but it touched me.
