A bit late tonight thanks to F1 being on at the same time. Overall thoughts.

Nigel as Batman wasn’t as I expected (wanted Christian Bale not Adam West)
Kai in shorts is a major ick
Not sure why Eddie was marked so high it’s like the judges were watching another dance or trying to make up for marking low for Karen’s crap choreography last week
Adam and Luba so bad it was good
Annabel and Jojo elegant and beautiful
Bobby deserved higher marks (don’t shoot me)
Ellie and Krishnan better than expected
Angela S her Irish dancing past is majorly helping her footwork
Layton judges were harsh because they know he’s got a lot of dancing experience and he’s coming across as a bit of a diva
Amanda was good but just can’t warm to her

Everyone else was so/so.

That’s who I expected to be in the dance off and Nikita is no real loss but I feel bad for her that her Strictly journey was so disappointing. And will Gorka ever have a celeb who leaves at the midway point?

I’d like Jody to go next week after a slow dance because there’s no way a longer run can be good for his leg.
 
Bobby & Dianne and Amanda & Gio were the best tonight by far for me.

I thought Angela S's Charleston was messy in some places so I wasn't entirely on board with the mad praise.

Nigel was a bit hard done to, I thought. Especially as Adam got a lot more praise and higher marks for something of similar quality if not very slightly worse

Ellie and Jody were both fine but I have absolutely no interest in Disney animated movies past about 2002 so I can't get invested.

Annabelle and Angela R both boring.

I liked Leyton & Nikita, didn't see much wrong with it although yeah probably a bit too full on like Craig said.

Krishnan was fun. Everybody seems to do well with Cabaret.

Eddie was good, 10 was a bit much but he was probably in the right place on the leader board so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Zara's snarl was comical and her dance was awkward. I think she could get better though.

Nikita was totally flat, but did look less nervous.
 
Just caught up. The dance I enjoyed most was Krishnan and Lauren. Was it perfect, I haven't a bloody clue 😁. I just love their partnership.

No surprise at elimination. I think she came across as a lovely person but definitely the weakest dancer. I think Gorka worked really hard to get her to the best she could be, and to make it a good experience for her.

The issue is that Gorka always seems so disinterested in strictly and that he would rather be home with Gemma (fair enough as they’ve got two little ones) but if that’s the case he should leave strictly for good now.

I’m not sure about this tbh because Gemma said on her stories this week Gorka hasn’t been home in 4 weeks. It’s been brought up a lot on her thread
