Thought Matt came across well, can’t be dealing with Joanne. Give me Kevin over her every day. I watched an episode of the Hit List she was on and i wanted to launch my tv out the window she was so annoying. Like a 10 year old trying to be funny and wanting constant attention.

Anton always realised it was also an entertainment show and if he knew there he was no way of winning he went out to entertain. Anton has always got the spirit of Strictly.

Yes, he became more of a parody of himself with each new series, but fair play to him, he knew which side his bread was buttered.

Matt and Nadiya are doing the samba to Saturday Night Fever by the Bee Gees (with Matt teasing a 'skin-tight suit' - at least Vicky Gill will hopefully remember to take his hem up this time)

She was part of the smug/tearful Ore stealing the trophy from Danny Mac (he was robbed!) debacle and I find her just as annoying now as she was then! There are so many pros they could have for choreography corner who would bring different things to it, having one is boring but having her is just ugh.

I just caught the end of it - it's not like they hate each other, but just that they seem on completely different planets. Just a very odd atmosphere between them

Richie seemed a bit more chill though, thank god

I actually warmed to Matt Goss on ITT. Not afraid to take the puss out of himself and didn’t seem as weird

I misread that as 'take the pus out of himself', which pricked my ears a bit. But I agree. Perhaps it was the overwhelm / nerves that bent him out of shape on Saturday. Perhaps he'll loosen up during the competition.

I also hope that he won't do any more Botox or whatever to his face, or else he'll start looking like some dodgy balloon art replica of Scarlett Johansson.

i would pay actual money, my own money, to see michael owen on this show you’re right though, it’s always the big defenders that they seem to get.

it’s similar with rugby, matt was small and quicker, whereas the kenny logan/ben cohen/gavin henson types were only great for lifts really!

thinking of rugby players on strictly has made me remember gavin henson greeting his own toddler daughter with “oh hiya, alright?” when she came into the training room

I think when/if Gio asked to be partnered with a guy he had someone in mind like John Whyte from last year. Not that annoying Ritchie he's been lumbered with!

I actually think Gio could have done a great job with someone like John Whaite. When he has danced with Kai or Johannes before it looks great. It could have shown same sex couples in a really positive light. Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to work in the same way with Richie.
