I’ve not followed a series on here before, are the couple voted out discussed on here before the Sunday night show is on tv?
 
If Gio asked for a same sex pairing he would’ve known he’d get stuck with Richie cos the pros meet all the celebs beforehand? I’m thinking he’s deliberately self sabotaging if true cos he looked pretty checked out on Saturday.

I’m also not sure he’d want to compete with Vito (who’s a much better dancer and has a fresher vibe). Idk, he just seems over it.

Gio joked on his tour that was looking forward to the Children in Need and Christmas specials now that he’d won the glitterball lol, so was definitely expecting a duffer…but maybe not someone quite as marmite as Richie!
 
I think Richie might be the first partner Gio has had when it's blatantly obvious from the off that he won't get anywhere near the final (Ranvir, Laura, Michelle, Rose and Georgia all had potential in the first weeks, and Debbie and Faye were massive ringers) - will be interesting to see how he approaches the task when there is no chance of winning - makes sure Richie has a lovely time and enjoys his run, or just checks out

Now that I've posted this, watch as Richie sails through to the final 😆

Like him or not, I do hope Ritchie has a lovely time on the show. He clearly loves Strictly, and he was so deeply enthusiastic about it beforehand that is would be a real shame if he had a shoddy experience because of either Gio checking out, Twitter being horrid to him or the papers printing unproven gossip.

I had a look at the leaderboard from Saturday and had a look at the Strictly Spoiler website where Dave gets an idea of how the public vote goes. There was no public vote on Saturday but if there had of been totalling up the figures heres the most noteworthy points:

-Will topped the Leaderboard and Public Vote and Hamza was 2nd in the public vote.
-Molly was 2nd on the Leaderboard but dropped significantly in the Public Vote (9th); could be seen in a dance off earlier than expected if it carries on like this.
-Fleur was 3rd on the Leaderboard but dropped 3 places in the Public vote (6th).
-Tyler and Richie were popular with the Public Vote compared to where they were based on the Leaderboard; Tyler was 11th on LB and 7th in the PV; Richie was 10th on LB and 8th in PV.
-Kym, James, and Tony were in the exact same place in the Public Vote and Leaderboard.
-Tony and Matt would have been in the dance off.

I don’t understand what the proposed public vote figures in the above are based on? Has DT taken YouTube views as a proxy for phone votes?

He asks people to vote in his poles and he has a lot of die hard strictly fans who follow him because he posts the spoiler. He always gets the spoiler right and his poles are normally a good indication of who will be in the bottom two.

Got to admit, I kinda almost hope the audience gets him to say week 7 or 8. I'd feel sorry for Gio, but also be pissing myself laughing at watching his soul slowly shrivel up and die a little more each week! 😂
