I was excited when she was first announced as I’d watched a stand-up show of hers a few months ago & really liked her. And as an overweight, middle-aged ex-disco-dancer myself I was keen to see what she might do, but this is brilliant!!!

Wasn’t fussed either way when I found out who her partner was, but I’ve got her down as a finalist now.

Karen & Jayde: especially having seen how good Jayde is, and how much personality she has when she dances. Karen is going to have a ball choreographing for her!

Nikita & Ellie S: Nikita was a breakout star for me last year, really excited to see what he does now he’s settled in a bit.


So that’s my top two, but I’m also looking Howard to Katya & Tony, Nadiya & Matt, Jowita & Hamza

Gorka and Helen and Karen and Jayde (and sneaky runner up Ellie S and Nikita)

Gorka and Karen are my favourite pros so that has a lot to do with but Helen seems to have potential to be a popular journey contestant and Jayde could be completely different sort of ringer, which is very exciting
 
This might be petty of me but I just saw both Giovanni’s posts about BSL were ads paid for by Cadbury’s. His fans are gushing like he invented sign language.
Why can’t people see through him. It’s paid ads.
Also how can the Rio fans ignore Gio following and unfollowing sexy private accounts? They think he and Rose are in love but are ok with him doing that??

Re: the Cadbury Ad, it’s a good campaign and he seems to have got some solid praise from the actual deaf community for it, and for learning to sign really well and clearly. I can’t really get mad about it, nice to see something that isn’t another HelloFresh ad.

As an addition, he’s also got 11 (I think) BSL shows on his tour next year and 5 with Anton, which is great. He’s a good lad generally and a good friend, just not someone you date with an aim of longevity 😅
 
Ah well, the shenanigans in France are worse than here. Allegedly one of the pros (who had just won the last two seasons) threw a bit of a strop that she didn't get the celeb she wanted so they had to switch around some partnerships. This particular pro used to be Brendan Cole's leading lady on his tours as well, birds of a feather flock together I guess.

Can only imagine the outrage if that happened at Strictly.
 
He’s not a millionaire so entitled to make money wherever I feel. He could be doing worse.

Sounds like the french at least have some balls, unlike all the dull pros on uk version now; like nodding dogs, desperate to just get 2 mins screen time bobbing and screaming sing with Claudia.

I agree with you. I couldn't care less how many IG babes he follows. He's managed to learn sign language pretty well in the space of less than a year.
 
I see Rose going to Italy has finally made the DM sidebar of shame…

I’m a bit intrigued to see how she features in Anton and Gio’s programme- if she’s dancing in it I hope they bought her a proper dress etc rather than what she’s wearing in the photo (she looks nice but very clearly in her civs).

I wonder how Nadiya will get on with him. Also, they're going to look very attractive together.

Is it okay to think Matt is now kinda hot? Until he.opens his mouth and David Brent comes out, of course.
