I can't even begin to work out their logic. If Kai goes out early this year he gets to do a showdance with his celeb from last year? Huh? Unless he dances it in the car park, on his own, because he's so bored after being an early boot maybe

I doubt any of the pros have refused a partner. They must know they’re all replaceable and would be booted if they caused too many problems.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the higher profile celebs have signed on with the proviso they got a certain pro or at least vetoed a few of them.

Jayde seems nice and up for a laugh. That means she'll most likely be forced into the comedy contestant role 🥴

Ahhh! I was going through her insta just now thinking I'm sure I know her from somewhere 😂 I didn't properly watch it but she was funny from what I saw

She does seem quite obsessed. It's been 8 months, let it go!! The latest on DS is that they think AJ may be up for presenting ITT if Rylan's not back. I hope not as I couldn't watch.

I have definitely heard of celebs insisting on a certain pro, but annoyingly my perimenopausal brain can’t remember who it was now! 🙄

I really, really hope they don’t do that. I’ll be gutted if they go down the ‘larger, funny woman = all the LOLZ!’ route. It’s so lazy and reductive. Hopefully she can bring a ‘duck off and stop being a dick’ attitude to any hint of ‘komedy kapers’.

Bill Bailey said he would only do it on the proviso that he wasn’t shoehorned into being the comedy act, so some people have managed to push back against it. I think it takes a lot of steel to do it, though: someone I’m vaguely acquainted with was on the show a few years ago and they and their pro had to fight hard to get out of doing a particular something they found humiliating.

She has a screw loose, she used to post on here as well 😭 I just had a look and she’s once again posting how many followers Kai has lost last month. 1. Who cares 2. Why are you as a 40 something year old woman taking time out of your day to check the insta followers of a professional dancer? Weirdo, go take care of your kids or something please 😭 It’s normal to loose insta followers when you hardly post, what she doesn’t realise is that as soon as the new series starts his followers will sky rocket. She claims she’s a fan of his but all I ever see is her talking tit 😂

I don't get the obsession with seeing some half baked showdance!! She was injured on day 1, so chances are it wasn't even fully choreographed yet...

Ohh was she that Mid-century Mad One? That makes slightly more sense 😁 All of the pros' followers go down in the off season, even the ones who aren't scoundrels who have cast aside their celeb partner for a fellow pro :LOL: If the people unfollowing Kai are AJ stans who can't bear to see him with another woman then he's well rid I'd say 😁

I like Jayde and she's a very entertaining guest on comedy podcasts, but had to unfollow her during lockdown as she was getting increasingly annoying on her socials. Also intrigued as to what happened between her and Kiri Pritchard McLean - they used to do a podcast and events together and now don't follow each other

Also, she has absolutely no filter, so that will be fun to watch 😆. Can definitely see her working well with Johannes
