I'm not expecting many big names this year, a lot of big name folk who might have considered it when their tours/shows/projects were shut down during the pandemic period 2020-21 will now be very busy again, making up for lost time.

I have a soft spot for Will Mellor though. Hope he doesn't have 2 left feet :giggle:

I remember him dancing when Two Pints did the musical themed episode (I love that episode!). He seemed to have a bit of rhythm!

I watched a show of hers last week (Serious Black Jumper, Amzn Prime, definitely worth a watch)) after I saw the tour cancellation rumours and it seemed like she was a strong likelihood. I really liked her, very funny, doesn’t suffer fools gladly.

She does mention her background in disco comps as a child (me too, Jayde, me too 😳), so wonder if she’ll get ‘RINGAH!!!!!’ pelted at her?
 
Maureen and Barbara from Rhyl haven’t heard of Jaye so she shouldn’t be allowed to take part obviously 🙄 (I’ve never heard of her either, but I’d heard of all the others so far and accept that I’m not going to know them all). Why do these women of a certain age think they should be able to dictate the line up?

Hopefully she’ll be a bit of grit in the ‘Strictly is all I ever wanted, friends for life’ mantra :D
 
I don’t know her but just saw her Insta stories shared on the Strictly Insta and I think I’m going to like her! She seems like a good laugh and she loves the show so will be happy to be there. That’s all I really want from a contestant!

I’d be gutted as a female contestant this year that I wouldn’t get Aljaz 😭 Love him so much! I’d be praying for Gorka, and keeping everything crossed that I didn’t get, under any circumstances, Neil 🤣

😂😂 just on the launch show like "immediately no!"

I do wonder if anyone has outright refused a pro/celeb??
