I watched a Q&A he did on his youtube and someone asked how they met and Lance said Tom arrived late to a party they were both invited to! I didn't know it was a sex party! But they got serious very quickly and there's a big age gap so I wondered if Tom wanted a father figure having lost his own Dad so young?

Hmm, yeah, I think I have seen that rumour somewhere before. I wouldn't be overly surprised if it was true.

ngl, I got proper creeped out when I found out they started dating very shortly after his dad died and that Dustin was almost the same age. Just a teensy bit weird...

That said, I was convinced they wouldn't last more than a year. I remember laughing when I saw a headline about them wanting kids, thinking 'as if you won't be broken up before it would have time to be born' and look how wrong I was. Hope they're all happy, anyway. 🤷‍♀️
 
Just seen on Katya's instagram that shes in panto from end of november to.end of December. Says she'll miss a few shows due to strictly but its in Lancashire. Even if shes out 1st week shes gonna be needed fridays and Saturdays minimum for SCD?

I think she's saying she'll miss the shows when Strictly is on. My local theatre had Anton in panto last year and they just didn't do Saturday shows. I think they'll find a way to make it work.
 
I checked Katya Instagram and the panto starts end of November and finishes December 28th. I think the only way it will work is if she gets a dud this year. If she is out she won't need to be at Strictly on Fridays? And maybe she'll miss the odd Saturday aka like Gorka last year? It's seems bizarre though. If she gets to the final of Strictly she will not be able to do many shows at all. How will she attend the rehearsals either for the panto?

Pantos work on circuits - same show with the same production company, same costume, maybe slightly updated songs and jokes but the content remains the same. She has played this part in this version of the panto last year so not much (if anything) will have changed. Lots of celebs do the same part in the same touring panto each year for this reason.

Older gay guy with younger one is pretty common, and tbh there is often a weird sense of ownership and control that comes with it. I've seen it so many times and eveh had friends cut off because their older partner likes to keep them close. Borderline predatory in my eyes.

This is slightly off topic but in work yesterday we were talking about heart throb actors and one of the younger members of staff said Aaron Johnston (Angus, thongs film). Then she said, that was before he was trapped with a baby by that old woman!!!

I just wonder why Sam T-J gets that thrown at her but Dustin doesn't when it's a very similar situation. Young guy, much older partner and baby.

Yes, I was just thinking of Aaron Johnston and Sam. They have had a couple of children together, and are still married/a couple as far as I know.
I hate the double standard of criticising the older woman with younger guy, but older guy with younger guy and no-one bats an eyelid!
I just hope both couples are happy/it’s a healthy relationship.

Probably part of the reason is that DLB looks quite young for his age. A lot of people might not know how much older than Tom he is if they never bother to google his age. Probably think he's 10 years older, not 20.

But you're totally right, there's seldom a peep when a man is older in a relationship. But with a woman, even 5 years older is enough to get called a cradle-snatching old hag, even by other women.

I think if DLB was with a much younger woman people would have more of an issue. It should be that people find it equally as creepy that someone is with a partner much younger especially when they’re a young adult, regardless of gender. I had no idea there was such and age gap between Tom and Dustin until today.

Tbh, Tom acts more mature than Lance. I find Lance quite annoying and I do wonder if they’ll last.

Back on topic..not impressed with the celebs so far!

I'm not expecting many big names this year, a lot of big name folk who might have considered it when their tours/shows/projects were shut down during the pandemic period 2020-21 will now be very busy again, making up for lost time.

I have a soft spot for Will Mellor though. Hope he doesn't have 2 left feet :giggle:
