Will looking up to the heavens again. Zzz
By the time he got upstairs though, he was all smiles again. Like the time he made a miraculous recovery from the lurgy. Plus I’m still not convinced he and Nancy get on, he’s always facing away from her when they’re upstairs with Claud.

(I would like to say again that I’m not mocking the death of anyone, especially not someone whose lost their dad as I miss mine every single day. I just find Will so insincere and it pisses me off that he was (imvho) pretending to cry last night

BIB - I'm with you on that and when I saw his eyes being cast upwards again tonight, I think my own eyes did likewise - for a different reason. 🙄

I would say Nancy finds him an absolute drag tbh, personality wise, but work-wise, they probably suit each other. He is taking it all very seriously and Nancy won't hold back on the work. I would say she is glad this week is over though.

She looked absolutely beautiful last night.

I won’t hear a word against Blackpool 🤣🎢 loved it as a kid and have took my kids for weekends to the pleasure beach and piers and they love it too. It is what it is, but it’s lots of fun. And if the sun shines it’s even better. We’ve done football tournaments down there and parents who have never been before and were dreading it even had fun. I do agree though, stick to the front.
I love Blackpool! I went there last summer with the kids and had a blast without having to leave the country. I think the beaches there are lovely, kids love the arcades and going on the piers.

Never saw it before but when she has natural styling she is beautiful! She’s really grown on me - a real pro!
Will is irritating as hell but I can’t help it - he has a real X factor for me! I find him really attractive! I really enjoy their dances.

I can imagine that Nancy is beginning to get fed up with Will, he seems like he wouldn't be the funnest to work with and I think his chances of the win are all but gone.

I wonder how it feels when you don't get along with your partner on the show - working one-on-one and close up with someone you don't like for hours on end every day must be torture.

Ooh Vito in tails! Would love to see him do a quickstep in this outfit

Regardless of what you think of the vote; Tony couldn't dance and was advised not to by the medical team. Even if we play devils advocate and say they did go to the PV and it was higher than Tyler's which it wasn't but let's go with that and Tyler left; what if Tony then pulled out of the competition next week? How would that have been fair? He left at the best opportunity when he was in a dance off he was never going to win anyways.

Yes Dave is an arse.

I’m not sure what point you think I’m making? My comment in my initial post was this: Tony couldn’t dance because he was injured; Tony is knackered and knows he’d never win a dance off anyway; Tony knows he’s benefitted from a high public vote for seven weeks so might well get through on the public vote if it comes to that (presumably being unaware that an unaffiliated internet poll gives Tyler a 1% lead over him); Tony withdraws meaning that Tyler goes through, which in my view was a pretty decent move on his part.

What did you think I was saying?

I'm not sure of the point you think I was making? I said from the PV and leaderboard that Tyler and Tony were for the B2. Tony pulled out which was wise of him to as he looked absolutely knackered and didn't seem fussed to continue; he pulled out at the right time in a dance off which there was no way he would have won anyway. Tony was at the bottom of the public vote this week and narrowly avoided the DO the week before as well by the 2 contestants who were in the DO so he wouldn't have been to avoid it anymore. End of.

So to clarify: AJ and Kai were both in the audience, there was an unexpected emergency requiring the filling of airtime at short notice, and we STILL didn't get the showdance?? Maybe Blackpool..

Also, I don't get why we can't have a few pro dances that are just simple ballroom? Not just for Remembrance Day - but you know Gilkison was itching to somehow have Graziano and Vito shimmy on as Latin n'eer-do-wells to fight for the hand of Luba

Why are all his ideas just variations of ‘gang of lads and gang of girls bump into each other in culturally diverse location. Two or more of them fall in love. Chaos ensues’. Did he watch West Side Story at a formative age or something?

Yes, but that’s the big question: how and why did a northern seaside town become the international focal point of so many significant dance competitions in the first place?

It does indeed have a wonderful ballroom, but back in the day there were hundreds of wonderful ballrooms with sprung floors, so why did Blackpool in particular become the ballroom centrepiece of the UK?

If I remember correctly in the Victorian and Edwardian times Blackpool was rather fashionable. Now a days the miles of B&Bs and hotels make it easier logistically.

I want to start a letter writing campaign to Strictly HQ demanding next year Katya deserves a mega ringer and please give Nancy a nice chilled out bloke.

OMG shameless! It had already been confirmed twice by the time Dave's mole got out of bed!
Massive thanks should go out to @Ruth_M as well who was our mole for this week and provided us the result as well as the first indication something was amiss

Also @Juliet007 for confirming what we suspected was amiss. Plus my own anonymous source who fully confirmed everything the second I landed in Portugal today in an amazing feat of timing
