Which singer sang tonight I missed the results show?

Sheku and Zak. I stole this piece about them from somewhere.

Who are Sheku and Zak on Strictly?
Following on from other 2022 musical guests like Becky Hill and Luke Evans, Sheku and Zak are a talented young duo, with Zak Abel on vocals and Sheku Kanneh-Mason playing the cello. They will perform their song Same Boat, flanked by Strictly pro dancers.

Zak was signed by Atlantic Records after featuring on a top 20 hit in 2014. He has collaborated with artists like Wretch 32 and has written for artists like Paloma Faith.

Musician Sheku shot to fame with his brothers on Britains’s Got Talent in 2015. Though they didn’t win, Sheku didn’t let the setback stand in his way and won the Young Musician of the Year award back in 2016, becoming the first black musician to win the award since it debuted in 1978.

Sheku had performed at the BAFTAs, the Royal Variety Show and even at the wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle in 2018, with his family performing on Strictly last year.

Sad to see Tony leave as I've looked forward to his dance every week. He's been a great sport and tried so hard. Hope he recovers from his injury quickly.

My other half hears me saying it every week we watch but I really wish that wardrobe put the men in better trousers for dances like the jive as they always seem far too tight and don't allow for a good range of movement at all and please no more half naked pasos *

Dave's poll is always accurate though just from the amount of people who vote in it over 100,000 people which statistically gives an indication on how the strictly viewing public is voting. It's accurate enough to show who is in the b2 every week.

Yes and I agree with you about Dave; long live Queen Julie!!

I agree it gives a reasonably accurate indication, but in every poll I’ve seen there’s only a 1% difference in Tyler’s & Tony’s vote, so within the full public vote, and allowing for the rumoured block voting of the Arsenal army, that 1% difference doesn’t mean much at all.

For seven weeks Tony has leap-frogged ahead of multiple couples placed above him on the leaderboard, so while his public vote was always going to start declining once the novelty value started to wear off, it doesn’t seem likely that it completely evaporated overnight.

Plus, of course, as far as Tony was aware, he knew he’d Gotardo history of several weeks of a pretty high public vote, so it wouldn’t be unreasonable for him to think there was a realistic possibility that his public vote was marginally higher than Tyler’s.

But, as always, there’s one very very important thing that we must remember at all times: Spoiler Dave is an arse.

I won’t hear a word against Blackpool 🤣🎢 loved it as a kid and have took my kids for weekends to the pleasure beach and piers and they love it too. It is what it is, but it’s lots of fun. And if the sun shines it’s even better. We’ve done football tournaments down there and parents who have never been before and were dreading it even had fun. I do agree though, stick to the front.

Because it hosts many of the big dancing competitions and many of the dancers have a lot of memories related to it and it's the celebs chance to dance in a proper ballroom, bouncy floor and all. The Nationals usually take place during Strictly weekend too so the pros will sometimes nip away to watch and meet up with dance friends.

Yes, but that’s the big question: how and why did a northern seaside town become the international focal point of so many significant dance competitions in the first place?

It does indeed have a wonderful ballroom, but back in the day there were hundreds of wonderful ballrooms with sprung floors, so why did Blackpool in particular become the ballroom centrepiece of the UK?

Regardless of what you think of the vote; Tony couldn't dance and was advised not to by the medical team. Even if we play devils advocate and say they did go to the PV and it was higher than Tyler's which it wasn't but let's go with that and Tyler left; what if Tony then pulled out of the competition next week? How would that have been fair? He left at the best opportunity when he was in a dance off he was never going to win anyways.

Yes Dave is an arse.

So to clarify: AJ and Kai were both in the audience, there was an unexpected emergency requiring the filling of airtime at short notice, and we STILL didn't get the showdance?? Maybe Blackpool..

Also, I don't get why we can't have a few pro dances that are just simple ballroom? Not just for Remembrance Day - but you know Gilkison was itching to somehow have Graziano and Vito shimmy on as Latin n'eer-do-wells to fight for the hand of Luba
