Convenient ratings winner for a Sunday night slot. It's totes ridic. Should be on the same night or even worse the following week! 😂😂
 
Aww, I knew what was to happen but still found it a bit emotional.

It annoys me a little that the judges say 'you're what Strictly is about' but they didn't really make much effort in terms of feedback to him throughout.

For me, Tony and Katya brought the entertainment week in, week out. Katya is a genius, and Tony gave it everything he's got. Well done to both of them.

I'm looking forward to seeing them on with Rylan on ITT.

A Rumba at Blackpool wouldn't have been the best choice because you need a dance that makes use of the extra dancers.

Dianne really struggles with the bottom two scenario. She almost had a breakdown the year she went out with Dev, she looked like someone had died on ITT. They didn’t deserve to go out that year but it was a bizarre reaction. Similarly with Max, she didn’t take it well at all. I think she takes it too personally. A reflection of her own popularity rather than her celebs. Can never decide if she’s just really insecure or got an inflated ego from the Joe year & the hugely increased fan base because of Joe.

Dave’s poll isn’t the public vote. It’s a minority sample of the voting public, and it is a skewed sample as it includes only those members of the voting public who a) are inclined to vote in online polls and b) know of the existence of Dave’s site. Also, it isn’t able to take account of block voting. So realistically it provides no definitive proof of Tyler’s vote vs Tony’s vote.

Also, Dave is a self-important thieving knob. Just felt obliged to say that as I don’t think I’ve mentioned it yet today.

She's spoken before (I think it was on Freeze the Fear) about not feeling good enough so it does definitely seem like she has some insecurities. I've said before I feel she gets too invested and while I'm sure it can be good in some ways, more so for her partner, I don't think it's always the best for Dianne.

Dave's poll is always accurate though just from the amount of people who vote in it over 100,000 people which statistically gives an indication on how the strictly viewing public is voting. It's accurate enough to show who is in the b2 every week.

Because it hosts many of the big dancing competitions and many of the dancers have a lot of memories related to it and it's the celebs chance to dance in a proper ballroom, bouncy floor and all. The Nationals usually take place during Strictly weekend too so the pros will sometimes nip away to watch and meet up with dance friends.

Blackpool can be beautiful on a sunny day if you stick to the front.
