That has become really noticeable. I assume they do it to make out the dance was better than what we see. 'If I make enough whooping noises the audience will think we did brilliantly ' kind of thing.

Well she spent all last night watching and commenting on the show on both insta and twitter. Has comments all over the BBC insta page as if she's an expert. And reposted story slating the scoring as being all over the place - the irony!

Especially when they absolutely have not nailed it! Amy screaming like a demented Ruth Maddock bee when it was hands down the worst Charleston I’ve ever seen

I don't actually mind Tess, but I completely agree with this. Plus it always seems to be my favourite that she patronises the most - first Jay, then Karim, now Hamza! Starting to worry that I choose the ones that seem fragile :LOL:

she has a difficult role (as opposed to claudia who can have a joke and a connection with the couples) but it seems like she still hasn’t quite judged the best way to do it.

Claudia has the bit of fun with them upstairs but she also has to be ready for any of them getting emotional or even downright upset when they first come up, or when the scores are being given.

I think they are both quite cushy roles tbh, and I imagine very well paid.

I really like her too, I can see why she’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I think she’s funny (and loved her on ITT too)

It must be a difficult time of year for her. I think it’s a job and she’s professional but even after 8 years, it must be tough to be immersed in Halloween. I respected Dan’s reasons for not going for certain costumes last year and I wouldn’t mind in the slightest if she sat it out every year

i don’t disagree at all - i didn’t mean difficult in terms of her performing brain surgery or something 🤣 i think it’s just a tricky balancing act in being the compere between the couples and judges - and tess has just never been able to do it quite as well as bruce did. but she’s not tyra (for those who watch dwts) and for that i’m grateful 🤣

I would love a big shake up in the creative and choreography teams sweep them all out, bar the couple who do AT because I feel that's an area the show has massively improved on since they came on board, then replace Jason Gilkison and start looking beyond Burn the floor as Pro recruitment office.

It's all well and good being fair but the fact is there are Pro's that have proven themselves to be excellent teachers and choreographers putting on a great show for viewers, they should be given celebs that are likely to do well. Wasting those sorts of Pros on duffers really does the viewers a disservice.
Like giving Kai a very obvious first boot. Even giving Tony to Katya imo was a mistake yes they are a great partnership and had some really fun routines but just think what she could be doing with the likes of Tyler!

I still can’t get over there only being two Waltzes so far at Halloween week! It’s that automatic assumption that the public don’t want to see ballroom so much - without taking into account that people of all ages would still rather see that.

I personally would take out the Paso Doble and the Salsa but understand that for the finalists, if the series is 27 weeks long then you need to keep them in

(bloody hell, I’ve said about 5 comments today that really show my age - for all you whipper snappers, Ray Quinn was a child actor who played Anthony Murray in Brookside (ask your mum) and I think did the X Factor and Dancing on Ice. BRB, away to set my VHS to record Bullseye so I don’t miss it when I’m having a bath for going back to school tomorrow 😩)
