Ref the racism call out, I’ve never really got it in relation to Strictly. Oti has won multiple times and Ore won it, didn’t he? Not saying racism isn’t out there but think Strictly votes go to best dancers/most popular or well known and there’s a bit of their journey and pro partner popularity too. If and when Judi goes it won’t be because she’s black, it will be because she’s not the best dancer

I watched a youtube video last night, it came up in my 'recommended', it was Gio and Kai filming live in their flat last January, with a small appearance from Gorka. I was shocked by Gio's behaviour, he came across as very camp to me , my gaydar was pinging . Not how I expected him to be at all !

Watching last night back Kai clearly wasn't prepared for Claudia's kiss comment it seemed to startle him in hindsight he didn't seem happy at all with it. Along with AJs brothers (she seems close with this particular brother) comment I wouldn't be surprised if Kai addresses it publicly at some point, he's no pushover and I can't see him being happy with the romance rumours over shadowing their dancing.

I really don’t think AJ or Kai are arsed about it, yes it will become annoying if they bring it up every week but it’s not like they are doing much to calm the rumours They are both grown and i’m sure they understand that people may be invested.

I love Claudia but I think she was totally unprofessional last night. AJ’s brother was right - it detracted from her great performance. I wonder if the showmance might not start to hurt them if it’s perceived to be pushed by the show too much

I agree I thought she was unprofessional. My son watched this morning and asked if she'd been drinking!

I can't say if this is true or not but just based on what I've read and heard in general. I think it's about the perception of Black people as being 'too loud' or too in your face, so people judge Black people by different standards than they would a noisy White person who may be seen as 'confident' or 'bubbly' rather than loud in the same circumstances.
