I can’t decide who I fancy more out of AJ & Kai. Regardless of whether they are together or not (they 100% are) they do look unreal together. Did he not date another pro dancer for years, what was her name again?

Other than very close to the finish, Tilly never did a cha cha chassis - and even then it was only a couple 'in-line' on her way to the stage. Quite awful. I marked her lower than Judi simply because she didn't dance a Cha Cha !


You obviously don't appreciate that the production team need to clean up the dance-floor between contestants. That's what the VT sections are about.

there’s a reason I am a viewer, and commenting on a forum on the internet. I’m not an expert of giving dance advice, or nor do I really aspire to. I’m just giving my own opinion on what i find entertaining, so please don’t get too caught up on what I’m saying. Maybe it wasn’t a cha cha but I found it entertaining. Maybe I should apologies for my ignorance of not knowing this forum being for anything other than expert opinions. “know what they are taking about” I watch the show for entertainment purposes. And for me, I thought it was just that, entertaining. So that’s what I said.

I also don’t sit down “marking people” or compare my views to any judges. I just sit down eat food, drink lots of wine and be happy. 💁🏻‍♀️

I agree. I think the majority of the viewers watching at home see it simply as Saturday night entertainment. Yeah, ofc by all means have an opinion and your favourites as we all do but don’t overthink it, you’ll only spoil the fun. Unless you’re a judge, it’s not that deep.

I watched a youtube video last night, it came up in my 'recommended', it was Gio and Kai filming live in their flat last January, with a small appearance from Gorka. I was shocked by Gio's behaviour, he came across as very camp to me , my gaydar was pinging . Not how I expected him to be at all !

He loves a chance to dress up in drag! That actually made me warm to him when he did Priscilla in the pro dance- I'd assumed he'd take himself too seriously and be one of those macho 'no way am I doing that' types but he seems to love it! I think there's a good guy in there, he just needs to ditch the bimbos 😅

On a side note did anyone else think Katya was being a bit unprofessional last night talking all through the judge's comments and saying whatever to Craig's score? I thought she'd been drinking lol I like her but that choreo was a mess last night.

Idk, after this week, I don’t think they are, probably just really good friends (for now) who have this chemistry which is helping their performances. Really hoping people just let it be now and focus on the dancing partnership as they could be finalists with how good they are.
 
Craig has always been my favourite consistent cast member of Strictly (presenters, pros, judges) and I’ve always thought he’s been fair and not been pressured to overmark like his fellow judges however it’s really disappointing to see the way he acts towards Anton along with Motsi and Shirley. It doesn’t matter if Anton isn’t nice behind the scenes (I doubt he’s a monster - Strictly kicked out Brendan and James Jordan for ‘diva’ behaviour) it’s so rude of the other three judges to give each other looks whilst he’s talking and make snide comments.

I’ll be honest, I’ve always been a bit indifferent towards Anton and I do think he’s trying to Len Goodman but everything he’s saying is useful, fair and kind.

Shirley and Motsi have really ruined the show for me. Getting a 10 doesn’t feel special anymore and they’ve really undermine the hard work put in by some celebs and especially the professionals by giving a 7 to a dance that is really no more than a 4.

In my opinion you are blind if you don’t think something is going on 🤣 But again it’s good to see how others interpret it!

Makes sense, I guess the most exciting thing last night for some was seeing that first 40. Just look at the engagement of their insta post on the strictly profile for instance, way more than everyone else.

Last week was slightly different, think it was AJ & Kai’s AT getting the most views on YouTube, with Rose & Gio being not too far behind.

Think they met doing Burn the floor- Kai joined 2015/16.
Guilia has toured with Brendan and I'm sure Gio before. They lived together in dublin and split before last christmas.
