I have had wine tonight so feel a tad bitchy, but I thought Nadiya pulled off that red hair better than Dianne ever has. Mind you, if that was Nadiya as Gandalf with the beard in the pro dance, she looked bloody good like that too. The woman can never look anything less than stellar.

Nadiya looked stunning. And fair play to wardrobe, she did actually resemble Kate Wilson of The B-52s.

Edit: oh, was that meant to be Gandalf?! My husband and daughter wanted to know why God was in a Halloween dance wearing a silver sequinned mini dress! 🤣

Totally agree. I think you can see Tilly is improving and isn't that what strictly is all about? Rose has also improved massively,i remember when I saw one of her first dances I thought oh no this is not fair but she's improved so much. John peaked too soon, he's not getting better in my opinion he's just treading water. Sara has improved but had a mare this week with the choreography, what was Alijaz thinking, Tom, Dan, Adam, are all trying but theyre not final material. Tom I particularly dislike after last night's sulky little face. 😂

But I honestly feel this year they're not bothered. As someone else said, the front runners are deaf, black and gay, so win win.

It's so funny on breakfast I quite like him and thought he was a good bloke but now I've seen him on strictly and his constant waffling he's dull as duck! What a bore! Stop talking Dan you ain't doing yourself no favors!

I agree I found him an arrogant knob in recent series but rose has brought out a more genuine and softer side of him. I’m beginning to change my opinion of him and really want rose to win

Other than very close to the finish, Tilly never did a cha cha chassis - and even then it was only a couple 'in-line' on her way to the stage. Quite awful. I marked her lower than Judi simply because she didn't dance a Cha Cha !


You obviously don't appreciate that the production team need to clean up the dance-floor between contestants. That's what the VT sections are about.

I think I can kinda see what he was going for. The intensity of the tango worked really well for her and I reckon he was trying to expand on that. But it was just too messy and not as structured as a tango.

Couples Choice is so crap, I always roll my eyes when a couple I like does one. Honourable exceptions include Faye and Giovanni, Ashley and Pasha and Bill and Oti - all of theirs were brilliant and played to their strengths.

I agree with all you have said. I cringe when Dan comes on he’s so cheese on toast I can’t cope with him
 
Just saw on Twitter that Rose and Gio’s 40 is the earliest 40 ever on Strictly! Which I think they fully deserved but does prove that Craig is definitely being softer this year. Past years he gave 9s even when he couldn’t fault the dances as he just didn’t want to give a 10 too soon for sure!
Think Gio might have to leave this year now to keep his king of Halloween title, not sure he’ll beat a 40 whoever he has next year 🤣

I agree. I don't see any of that either. Funnily enough all those things annoyed me about her before she was on Strictly !

Love Sara, she is so lovely. Follow her on Insta, I thought the dance was going to be sensational going by their updates during the week ...they had 2 choreographers helping them with this too... I was disappointed for her , it was a wreck , not her fault. Aliaz and 2 choreographers and this was the result....

Horses for courses of course because I know this doesn’t mean he’s a joy to work with, but from what I’ve seen of him he’s a good one.

In sure he was/ is and as i also said, I do like Anton and have even been to seen him dance. I'm just stating what's been said to me by someone who works with him. And that's their opinion not mine

Yes, she looks better more natural. She looks lovely in rehearsals and on ITT. The hair extensions do her no favours at all. It wasn’t a great night for her and I hope it hasn’t highlighted the fact that she actually hasn’t improved as much as we thought.
